A real privilege for our team this week.

On Monday, Vicky and Rebecca joined the judging panel for the Petplan UK Veterinary Awards 2026, helping to narrow down an extraordinary 20,736 nominations across the five categories.

Reading about the exceptional care, professionalism and dedication across our profession was genuinely inspiring (and made the decisions very difficult!).

Finalists will be announced in October, with winners revealed at the awards ceremony on 19th November.

We're in Vet Times this week! 🎉

"Inspiring" was the word delegates used again and again about The Independent Vet Conference 2026 - and we couldn't agree more.

Two days exploring Beyond: Leading Veterinary Care into Conscious Evolution, 61 exhibitors, workshops and practical sessions, and an incredible £22,370 raised for Vetlife through our raffle and auction.

As Alan put it, the trust and respect in the room made it easier for people to ask questions and learn from each other. Those conversations carry on long after everyone heads home.

Thank you to everyone who was part of it. Next year we're at De Vere Cotswold Water Park, 16–18 September 2027 - and we'd love to welcome you.
