New Staircase fitted a while ago now in a renovation project I have been working on.
I finally fitted the newel caps this week but forgot to take a pic🤣

Pictures show before and after!
The old layout meant you had to go downstairs to reach either side of the house when needed but now with all that taken out a new Oak staircase fitted and landing area formed it has made the house flow a lot better and has essentially joined the house together!

I have to say both myself and the Clients weren’t 100% sure it would work because it’s so hard to map out position and get accurate measurements with the existing stairs in place, as it wasn’t a like for like replacement.
Massive thanks to the clients for their help with removing the old and lifting in the new 💪 their trust in me to deliver their vision and their patience during the works as they were still living in the property while this was being done!
I had full confidence in my make shift landing so the bedrooms and bathrooms could be accessed and used!
This has been wrapped up for what’s seems like an age due to it being oiled by the clients and plastering still needing to be completed. Forgot how good it looked.

Work completed for a returning customer where she wanted to organise and make better use of her bedroom.
I removed the old wardrobes and the nib of wall that stuck out to create the wardrobe depth, this gave more room for the door to open and made access easier.
This area needed plastering because the whole room had been done since the wardrobe had been built so left a step in the wall and ceiling finish.
New wall panelling, coving and shelf supplied and fitted.
The main event was a new set of wardrobes with a chest of drawers in Halesworth grained sage green supplied by

Big thanks to for being available at short notice as plastering was not thought to be needed.

I was asked to replace the timbers on this very old bench as the old ones were very rotten.
The customer for this project wanted it done in something that would last and we agreed on Sapele.
I machined the slats out over a year ago and the customer told me I would get the call to come and assemble the bench when it was painted ready.
There’s a lot of sentimental value in this bench and an impressive back story to go with it.
The reaction I got from the couple when it was assembled and they saw it together was one of much happiness and they were both very grateful for my efforts.
This is why I love what I do, I have made a couple very happy and I am now part of the continued story this bench holds.

The last couple of weeks have seen me working for a new customer.
Projects included insulating and boarding a double garage ceiling to include architrave both sides of an existing loft hatch.

I then moved on to a cupboard under the stairs the where the customer discovered some wasted space that he wanted to make use off.
He kindly dug out 90% of the dirt and stone while he had a few months waiting for me to arrive to start the work, for this I was very grateful 🤣.
I just had to tweak the levels slightly to enable me@to fit new joists and plywood floor.
I cut the access bigger and added a door frame and door with new architraves to match the existing.
I then replaced the door on the gas shed with a door purchased by the customer by the customer and fitted new timber architraves to that and built a new step internally to another storage area.
I also had time to make a repair to a door sill and frame with repair care and clad a concrete pedestal under an oil boiler!!

I also fitted in some other small jobs while I was there.
One happy customer!!

Thanks to for his help with this.

Bespoke booze cabinet made for a recent project I have been working on.

This was designed to cover a mains water supply coming into the house and also to house electrical sockets for a sub woofer that will be connected to the tv going above.
The centre cabinet had glass shelves added with a spot light above and glazed shaker style door to show off the clients crystal glasses, switched separately with a small rocker switch discreetly placed out of site.
All cables hidden. All compartments have adjustable shelving with the curved end open shelving being fixed.
Curved plinth formed to follow the curve of the shelves twice because I got the first one wrong 😉
All doors feature soft close hinges and k***s fitted to match the previously fitted kitchen.
I have templated the top so a piece of stone can be cut and added by others to match the kitchen.

My latest install of 18 internal doors has just been completed.
All doors supplied with all associated ironmongery in Matt black by
All doors apart from the last pair were fitted into old frames so I had a challenge on my hands.
The doors were carefully chosen by the clients so that the dinky doors could be cut from a full size door and still look 👌🏻.
