This is exactly the sort of local business we need to get behind. ❤️

Little Grazey catered for an event for us and they were absolutely first class — fantastic food, great service and a real pride in what they do.

It takes a lot of guts to build a small independent business, particularly with the costs and pressures businesses are facing at the moment. While it’s easy to automatically head to the big chains, it’s businesses like this that give our local area its character.

If you’re in Old Town, pop in, give them a try and spend a few quid locally. Every coffee, sandwich or order genuinely helps keep an independent business going.

I’ve been dreading this for a while even though I know it’s what needs to happen It’s actually really scary to take these steps and be so transparent about it!

You might notice a few changes to our instore menus, including an increase in some of our prices.
I wanted to explain why.

Little Grazey has always been a bit different. We aren’t a high-volume café selling hundreds of coffees and breakfasts every day. What we make is different— beautiful grazing, generously filled sandwiches and food that’s designed to feel like a bit of a treat. Because the portion sizes truly are a treat 😂

But it also makes running a shop front incredibly unpredictable.

Some days we’re really busy, others we’re incredibly quiet, but the rent, wages, utilities, ingredients and all the other costs involved in opening the doors remain the same or have gone up so much it’s such a fine line to even break even now!

For a long time I’ve tried to absorb those costs rather than passing them on. Unfortunately, we’ve reached the point where that isn’t sustainable anymore.

These new prices aren’t about making money. They are about surviving.

This is our final attempt at finding a model that allows us to keep our little Old Town shop open while paying our team properly, buying good ingredients and making food we’re proud of.

I’ll also be completely transparent: if we can’t make the shop sustainable with these changes, this Christmas will likely be Little Grazey’s last with a permanent shop front.

Little Grazey itself isn’t disappearing. Catering, grazing and the creative side of what I do will continue — but I really would love to find a way for our little shop to stay too.

Every order genuinely makes a difference to a small independent business.

Thank you for supporting this slightly unusual little idea of mine and allowing it to grow into what it has become. I’m excited for the future of Little Grazey. I have so many ideas and exciting bookings coming up which will lead me down some weird and wonderful paths I’m sure! 😂
