🌿 Dredging and Reshaping for Nature! 🌿
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been busy dredging the waterways and reshaping the banks to restore this beautiful area and create new habitats for wildlife.
Over time, the existing streams and ponds had become filled with silt, meaning water could no longer flow properly. By carefully dredging and removing the built-up material, we’ve restored their natural depth and movement — allowing fresh water to circulate once again. 💧
As part of the project, we’ve also reshaped the banks and created new ponds, designed to support a rich variety of wildlife including amphibians, birds, and insects. These new and restored habitats will soon come to life, providing feeding, breeding, and sheltering spaces for countless species. 🐸🦋🐦
As vegetation returns, this area will develop into a thriving, self-sustaining ecosystem — improving biodiversity, enhancing water quality, and creating a more resilient natural landscape for the future. 🌱
Big shout out to WFS Grab Hire for stone and topsoil. Cheers guys 👍🏻🪴🌱
