A kitchen 1st fix completed. When taking up the carpet/flooring upstairs isn’t an option, I cut discs out of the ceiling...

A kitchen 1st fix completed. When taking up the carpet/flooring upstairs isn’t an option, I cut discs out of the ceiling and follow the existing joist holes to run my new cables to the required locations.
I then fit a piece of batten above the drilling and screw the discs back into place then the ceiling gets skimmed and you’ll never notice it was ever cut out. 😎
