The reveal ✨

Earlier this week this staircase was still in pieces… now fully fitted and ready for stain.

Crafted from solid oak and finished with black metal spindles, this one wasn’t a light install — the weight alone made it a challenge — but seeing it all come together makes it worth every bit of effort.

Clean lines, quality materials and attention to every detail to create a staircase that becomes a feature of the home, not just a way to get upstairs.

Really pleased with how this one has turned out and excited to see the finished stained result 👌

From old to oak 👌

Here’s the before… the old staircase out, and the new one sat ready for install. We started fitting on Monday and today’s the finish line 🔨

Solid oak throughout with black metal spindles — such a clean combination and already completely changing the feel of the space.

Can’t wait to show the finished result 👀

C Smith Carpentry & Joinery Ltd are recruiting for a full-time, experienced cabinet maker.

An established manufacturing company based near Malmesbury, who specialise in producing high-quality, bespoke joinery, are looking for a skilled person with a passion for working with timber.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to add to our professional and friendly team working in a busy environment.

The Role:

Manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery

Final finishing and installation of joinery products

Working from technical drawings

Maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in a joinery manufacturing environment

Relevant joinery/carpentry qualifications

Skilled in assembly and final finishing

Attention to detail

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail

Strong communication skills

Able to work to deadlines

Must have own tools

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with overtime available for the right candidate.
