Glorious sunshine at Out of Town Close today! ☀️

A few progress photos of the front and roof construction of Plot 4, our three-bedroom detached bungalow. It’s lovely to see it taking shape as work moves forward.

With its own garden and garage, we’re looking forward to sharing more as this home comes together.

The roof is going up on Plot 4!

Another exciting milestone at Out of Town Close, with the roof trusses being fitted to our three-bedroom detached bungalow. It’s great to see its shape taking form and the plans becoming a reality.

With open-plan kitchen and dining space, underfloor heating, a private south-west-facing garden and its own garage, there’s plenty to look forward to.

A clearer look at Out of Town Close

If you’ve been following progress on Butterley Hill, our site plan shows how the four three-bedroom homes fit together: two semi-detached homes in the former pub, a detached house and a bungalow tucked away at the rear.

With private shared access, a turning area, designated parking and individual gardens, it’s a small development thoughtfully arranged.

Open plan or double doors — which would you choose?

We’re exploring two options for connecting the kitchen/dining room to the lounge in our Plot 4 bungalow at Out of Town, Butterley Hill.

A — An open-plan opening, creating a flowing space.
B — Glazed oak double doors, with the flexibility to close off the lounge for a cosier feel.

Walked past The Out of Town on Butterley Hill and wondered how it all fits together?

Our site plan reveals the full layout: four individual three-bedroom homes—two semi-detached houses, a detached house and a detached bungalow—with private shared access, a dedicated turning area and allocated parking for every home.

We’re refining the kitchen design for Plot 2 at The Out of Town and would love your thoughts.

Option A pairs mushroom units and light oak flooring with a round dining table. Option B combines green-grey units and warmer oak tones with a rustic table and bench.

A little Plot 2 update from The Out of Town

Here’s a look at the exterior, along with our plans for the lounge and kitchen. We’re close to finalising the kitchen layout and colour scheme, helped by all the feedback you’ve shared.

Tom and Stella bought their three-bedroom bungalow from us in 2020, at our small development of just five bungalows in Marehay.

I still see them occasionally, and it’s lovely to hear how much they love their home all these years later. That’s exactly what we hope for when we build a home.
