🎓 Congratulations to our 11 CR Civil Engineering team members who have successfully completed the Leadership and Management Development Programme, delivered in collaboration with Jo Bowditch Training Services!

This comprehensive four-module programme was designed to strengthen leadership and management capability across our business, bringing together both office and site staff to share experiences, develop skills, and grow as leaders.

The programme covered a broad range of topics, including:
💼 Module 1 - Introduction to Leadership and Management
💬 Module 2 - Communication, Motivation and Delegation
🤝 Module 3 - Teamwork, Developing Yourself and Others
⭐ Module 4 – Performance Management, Customer Service and Quality

It’s been fantastic to see such strong collaboration between office and site staff throughout the programme, with excellent feedback from all participants.

A huge thank you to Jo Bowditch Training Services for delivering an engaging and impactful learning experience, and well done to everyone involved for your commitment to continuous development and leadership excellence. 👏

Last week, our team attended the CIEEM Awards 2025, where we were proud to be named finalists for our Site Safety Training for Ecologists course.

Ecological Clerks of Works (ECoWs) play a vital role on construction sites working alongside contractors to protect biodiversity, meet environmental regulations, and implement effective mitigation. But for those just starting out, stepping onto a busy site with heavy machinery, deep excavations, and hidden dangers can be overwhelming, especially without proper safety training.

To address this, RSK Biocensus and CR Construction Training have developed a practical course that introduces ecologists to construction site safety. The course provides a safe, hands-on environment to help ECoWs understand site layout, identify common hazards, and learn how to navigate and communicate effectively on site.

A huge thank you to RSK Biocensus and our dedicated training team for their hard work and commitment in bringing this initiative to life. We're incredibly proud of the impact it’s already having on the next generation of ecological professionals.

🛩️ Charity Skydive for Royal Papworth Hospital Charity

To celebrate CR Civil Engineering's 25th anniversary, eight of our team members including our Training Manager, Catherine, and our Training Cordinator, Jess, will be skydiving from 13,000 feet on June 6th to raise funds for the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity, a cause close to our hearts.
