🎉 New Contract Award!

We are pleased to have been appointed by The National Trust to deliver fire protection works at Newton House and Dyffryn House.

We are currently progressing through Stage 1 of the contract, with Stage 2 anticipated to commence in November 2026 at Dyffryn House, and January 2027 at Newton House.

These projects provide an exciting opportunity to support the preservation and protection of two important heritage properties, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with The National Trust as the works progress.

A significant milestone has been reached at the Grade I listed Cyfarthfa Castle.

The first phase of conservation works to the South East Round Towers has been successfully completed, including the restoration of historic windows and associated stonework. These essential works have helped stabilise and protect important elements of the castle's historic fabric, preserving its architectural heritage and preventing further deterioration.

The completion of this phase represents a major step forward in the ongoing conservation programme, ensuring that this iconic landmark can be enjoyed by future generations.

Mission accomplished! Our second food donation collection of the week! 👏

A huge thank you to JWC Adrian Thomas, Site Manager, and the staff at , who generously collected food and essential supplies for the local , part of the network.

Also, incredibly grateful to Sophie Rees, Eve Bestel and the team , who showed their support by donating bags of groceries, toiletries, pet food and pet treats.

By joining forces, we were able to deliver an incredible amount of much-needed supplies to the food bank. These donations will help support local families during the six-week summer holidays, a time when many households face increased financial pressure.

Alison Rees, Sophie and Eve received a warm welcome and a heartfelt thank you from Jeff and the team at ,. Based at the , and who highlighted, just how much these contributions mean to families across the local community.

John Weaver Llandrindod Wells Hospital project team in partnership in donating to the local Food Bank.

As part of our on-going partnership between Powys Teaching Health Board / Bwrdd Iechyd Addysgu Powys, Mott MacDonald, we were proud to come together to make donations to the local Trussell Trust, food bank in Llandrindod Wells.

Our project is about transforming healthcare facilities for the future, but partnerships like this demonstrate that our commitment to the local community extends beyond the construction site.

A huge thank you to everyone across the project team who contributed. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a real difference to someone who needs it.

​We were absolutely thrilled to be part of fantastic site tours this week, hosted by , with the invaluable insight of the Museum Team, and supported by The .

The tours were arranged for representatives from , the Historic Environment Group, and the , Derek Walker’s team, providing an opportunity to showcase this remarkable site and explore its rich heritage.

JWC is incredibly proud to work alongside partners who share the same vision for craftsmanship and heritage conservation.

Contract Award 📢

We’re pleased to be working with Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe on Phase 1 of the Digarbon Project at the Faraday Building, Singleton Campus.

This phase will involve the replacement of the existing ventilation and heating systems, alongside connection to the district heating network, with associated building works supporting the M&E installation.

Works are due to commence on site in early May, and we look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses.
