5-Year, In-House Trade Training Programme

We’re investing in the next generation of skilled tradespeople through a paid, structured five-year training programme across South Wales. If you’re motivated to learn, ready to work hard, and looking to build a long-term future in the construction industry, this could be the opportunity for you.
Trainee Positions Available
We are offering ten trainee positions:
- 2 Bricklaying Trainees
- 2 Stonemasonry Trainees
- 2 Carpentry Trainees
- 1 Plastering Trainee
- 1 Cabinet Making Trainee
- 1 Bathroom Fitting Trainee
- 1 Kitchen Fitting Trainee
What the Programme Offers
This five-year programme combines practical learning, mentoring, employment, and real site experience. You’ll be supported throughout your development by dedicated HR and health and safety teams, alongside experienced tradespeople who will help you build the skills and confidence needed for a successful career.
Pay Structure from Age 16
- Year 1: £8.50 per hour
- Year 2: £9.00 per hour
- Year 3: £10.85 per hour
- Year 4: £11.00 per hour
- Year 5: £13.00 per hour
Rates will be reviewed in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements. Previous experience will be considered when setting pay for candidates if applicable.
