Got fed up waiting for Nick Jones Tiling Ltd to put this one on Facebook, so thought I'd better do it myself… 🦖😂
Nice little cloakroom refurb we've been working on. We altered the pipework, built the boxing for the concealed cistern and fitted the new WC, vanity basin and radiator.
Tiling carried out by Nick Jones Tiling Ltd — cracking job when you can finally get the dinosaur moving. 😂
LVT flooring is being fitted separately, then I'll be back to remove and refit the WC and finish everything off.
Coming together really nicely 👌
Plumbing moves quicker than Nick's social media department, apparently. 😂🔧

Disabled wet room extension progressing nicely. 🔧
First fix plumbing and heating completed, with all hot and cold water pipework for the new disabled wet room and the heating system installed throughout the extension.
As the property had already been plastered before I started, all pipework was carefully surface run to keep everything neat and minimise disruption.
We're now just waiting for the toilet and basin to arrive before returning to complete the second fix.
If you're planning an extension, disabled adaptation, wet room or bathroom renovation, feel free to get in touch.

🔧 Oil boiler breakdown attended and repaired today. 🔥
After carrying out a full fault-finding process, the boiler was successfully repaired by replacing the oil nozzle and completing combustion checks to ensure it was operating safely and efficiently.
During the visit, I also carried out an inspection of the oil installation and identified a number of issues, including a damaged bunded oil tank. An OFTEC warning notice was issued, and the customer was advised on the remedial work required to bring the installation back up to a safe standard.
A breakdown isn't always just about getting the boiler running again—it's also about identifying underlying problems before they become bigger and more expensive.
If your oil boiler is unreliable, due a service, or you'd like your oil tank checked, feel free to get in touch.

🚿 Sometimes a simple shower replacement turns into something much bigger...
This job started as a leaking shower, but once the old tray and enclosure were removed, years of water damage were uncovered.
Hidden beneath the floor were rotten joists, damaged flooring and extensive water ingress. The shower area had to be stripped right back, the rotten timber removed, new structural timbers installed, pipework altered, and the floor rebuilt before the new shower tray could even be fitted.
With the repairs complete, the room was rebuilt with new waterproof wall panels, a new shower tray, enclosure and shower, giving the customer a modern, watertight finish and, more importantly, a solid structure underneath.
The photos show exactly why it's so important to investigate leaks early. What looks like a small issue on the surface can hide years of damage underneath.
A lot of hard work went into this one, but the end result was definitely worth it.

🔧 Boiler Installation Update – Day 2 🔧
Following on from yesterday's progress, more work completed today on this loft boiler installation.
The pipework is now taking shape, with heating flow and return pipework alongside the hot and cold water services neatly installed throughout the loft space.
Still to come: ✅ Pipe insulation ✅ Electrical connections ✅ Commissioning and testing ✅ Final finishing touches
Taking the time to keep pipework neat, organised and accessible not only looks professional but makes future servicing and maintenance much easier.
Looking forward to getting this one over the line and sharing the finished result soon. 🔥

🔥 New Boiler Installation Underway 🔥
A busy start to the week with a new boiler installation underway.

We've made a good start today, with the boiler mounted and pipework installation progressing well. Looking forward to getting everything connected, commissioned and up and running for the customer.
