Another full-on day for The Combat Cleaners and today I was back out on the tools myself! 💙

Today’s mission:
🧽 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom holiday let — full changeover
🏡 Holiday chalet — cleaned, reset & guest-ready
✨ 2-bedroom house — full changeover
🛏️ 2 professional mattress cleans

Three completely different properties, all with the same end goal: spotless, fresh and ready for the next guests.

🏡 Rosedale, reset & ready for its next guests ✨

There’s something so satisfying about walking out of a property knowing absolutely everything is ready for the next arrival. 🙌🏼

Today was changeover day at Rosedale, beds stripped and remade, bathrooms refreshed, kitchen reset, every room checked and all those little finishing touches put back into place. 🧺🧽

The goal is simple: the next guests should walk through that door and feel like nobody has ever stayed there before them. 🤍

That fresh bedding.
That spotless bathroom.
That perfectly reset kitchen.
That “ooooh, this is lovely” feeling when you first walk in. ✨

And then we’re out the door and onto the next one… 😂💨

I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to say… THAT’S A WRAP. 💙🧽

Today we officially completed our biggest project to date the post-builder clean of the new science block and canteen at BRYNGWYN SCHOOL, Llanelli.

And what a week it has been. 😮‍💨

Alongside this project, we’ve also managed to complete 30+ holiday-let changeovers, office cleans and various other jobs and today alone, I completed 2 changeovers and 2 office cleans before heading straight back to site to see the post-builder clean through to the very end and make sure I was personally happy with everything before we wrapped up.

Tonight, my body is aching, my head is pounding and I am absolutely shattered.

But secretly… I’m smiling from ear to ear.

Because today we completed the biggest job The Combat Cleaners has taken on to date, and everyone walked away with happy faces all round. 💪🏼 we absolutely love working alongside Lloyd & Gravell on their new builds and various other projects and are very privileged they use us for their cleans 💙 they are one of the very first customers we gained when I first started out.

There’s something different about standing in a building at the end of a project and remembering what it looked like when you first walked through those doors.

The dust. The debris. The builder’s marks. The endless floors, windows, classrooms, toilets, kitchen areas and finishing touches.

And then seeing it clean, polished and ready to be handed over and used.

That feeling makes the exhaustion worth it.

A huge thank you to my team for getting stuck in and helping us get this one over the line. And thank you to everyone involved in the project for trusting The Combat Cleaners with such an important final stage.

Our biggest project to date: COMPLETE. ✅

Now I think we’ve earned a very hot bath and a very early night. 😂💙

Tomorrow is WRAP-UP DAY 🎯

We’ll be carrying out our final quality checks, going back over every area with a fresh set of eyes and completing those last little finishing touches ready for handover.

Post-builder cleaning isn’t just about getting rid of the dust it’s about making sure the finished building actually looks finished.

From construction site ➡️ clean, polished and handover ready. ✨

Post-builder cleaning while the site is still live 💪🏼🧽

Today we tackled a full deep clean of the canteen and building floors, removing the construction dust, dirt and residue that’s built up throughout the works.

With trades returning to site, we also made sure clear, clean pathways were created through the building, helping keep completed areas protected and the site ready for the next stage.

There’s a lot more to post-builder cleaning than making somewhere look shiny — timing, site awareness and working around other trades are all part of the job.
