After our holiday and a slight delay whilst the truck was having essential work carried out . It took longer than expected but I’m well happy with the results . All read and back on the road now .

Hello everyone. This is not a post that I wanted to write . But here goes . I haven’t done this for years I’ve always tried to keep the cost down for customers .

As u all know the prices of everything rising so much lately. My accountant has told me I have to put a slight increase on my work . Otherwise it won’t be worth me starting the van in the morning . πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

As we all know the prices have gone up on

Tyres
Vehicle parts
Gardening machinery
Tools
Vehicle tax and insurance
Wages

Waste tipping fees (highest they have ever been)

Fuel (ridiculous prices)

Even my bank has now emailed me to say my bank charges are going to rise at the end of April 😑😑
(For cash and for transfers or card payments )

This is without other costs behind the scenes to keep going . πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

So going forward there will be a slight rise in my prices I’m afraid . 😟 I’m sorry I have to do this but I simply have to do this to be able to keep going .

Sorry for the bad news but I really do appreciate each and every customer that supports us here at kd gardening and waste services 😊😊😊

Our new toy .

Following yesterday’s bag collections ALOT of people are filling the bags so heavy to try saving money we have had to purchase this scales .

I get everyone is try to get it as cheap as they can but it works both ways . I’m always fair on my prices but when some of these bags are 15kg plus is actually costing me more than I’m charging to dispose of them 😳😳 I can’t keep doing this . Unfortunately it’s happening to often .

So from today if a bag is to heavy it will be quickly weighed and you will be charged accordingly from now on .

Sorry to do this there’s just to many people doing it to me unfortunately 😳😳😳

Also from now on if you pay for a big wheelie bin the lids will need to be able to close when full . Any overspill will have to be charged from now on . I’m all for helping people but we can’t keep going like this .

Sorry for one of my rants but yesterday really KO me . I was knackered 😳😳😳😳

First of all I think everyone that took part was awesome and please bare these local businesses in mind when u need services in the village 😊πŸ’ͺ

Secondly behind the scenes there was many local businesses helping with funding . 😊πŸ’ͺ including paying for the sweets and selection boxes that we gave out on the night 😊πŸ’ͺ 400 selection boxes and 150 tubs of sweets 😜😜😜

Please guys just remember these businesses are local and would love u all to support them in the near future πŸ’ͺπŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Š
