⚡ PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE

We’re pleased to showcase another successful project delivered by IWS for CBRE, supporting Direct Line Group at their operational facility in Rutherglen, Glasgow.
Delivered over 15 weeks and achieving a 5-star project rating, our team completed a comprehensive HV/LV electrical infrastructure upgrade while keeping the site fully operational throughout.
Led by IWS Project Manager Paul James, the project highlights our ability to deliver complex electrical works safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption.

Early start, quality finish. 💪

On Sunday morning, we were on site from 5:00am–7:00am to complete a reactive repair at a neighbourhood centre before the traffic and heat arrived.

The job involved removing a collapsed speed hump, reinstating the tarmac, and installing a new 4.1m speed hump - all completed within two hours.

A great team effort by Alex Ward (Operations Supervisor) and Kieran Bowen (Fabric).

🚨 Case Study Spotlight: LV Mains Upgrade at Chase Farm Hospital 🚨

⭐ 5-star client rating

IWS was proud to partner with CBRE to deliver a critical LV mains upgrade at 127 The Ridgeway, Enfield, EN2 8JL (Chase Farm Hospital) - one of the UK’s most digitally advanced hospitals.

Our scope included:

- Replacing the existing LV panel with two Schneider wall-mounted panelboards.
- Installing an 8-way distribution board for lighting and small power
- Ensuring uninterrupted power to the Nursery and MSCP with a temporary generator, with an out-of-hours switch back to the mains supply.

This project, led by Project Manager EthanFullman, showcases IWS’s dedication to precision, reliability, and seamless ex*****on in complex, live hospital environments - demonstrating that with careful planning and expert ex*****on, even critical and advanced facilities can undergo major electrical upgrades without disruption.

We're proud to have sponsored Treorchy RFC's tour to South Africa and to have played a small part in such an incredible experience. 🇿🇦🏉

The club represented its community with pride, taking on False Bay Rugby Club and Kylemore RFC in two fantastic matches while creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

We're especially proud that the tour kit, sponsored by IWS, was donated to members of the local community at the end of the trip, leaving a lasting connection beyond the rugby field.

A special mention to our own Jac Williams from IWS, who travelled with the squad and played in both games.

Another successful LED transformation completed by the IWS team.

Our team recently completed a full multi-storey LED lighting upgrade at Canolfan Rheidol, Aberystwyth, helping improve energy efficiency and create a brighter environment for everyone using the building.

A fantastic project to be part of and a great example of strong collaboration, attention to detail, and quality delivery throughout.
