Bay Plastering-Swansea

THE FEAR!
Only plasterers will understand the fear you get when you finish rendering a wall at 5pm and hear rain on your roof at 8pm, not knowing whether it was success or not till you turn up for work the next day…..this was a beautiful thing to arrive to this morning 🙌😂 #ʀᴇɴᴅᴇʀɪɴɢ

Nothing better than a good soak the next morning. Have a good start to the week all 🤙🏻

Fresh meat!! 😂😂

We’d like to introduce everyone to Tom!

Tom has been working with us since around February and has shown a keen eye, plenty of ambition and a work rate you don’t see in many. So, we’ve made it official with his brand-new workwear… naturally, we had to get the obligatory first-day-at-school photos 🤣

We’re currently a team of two, with the possibility of becoming three in the near future.

If you are interested in learning the plastering trade, we’d be happy to hear from you. As most of our work is around Gower and rural Swansea, a driving licence and your own vehicle would be essential unless you live locally.

We’re also coming to the end of several larger projects that have kept us tied up over the past few months 🙏, so our diary is beginning to open up again. If you’ve been thinking about having any plastering or rendering work done, now is a great time to get in touch and get your project booked in.

We’ve had one of our busiest starts to the year so far, with plenty for Tom to get stuck into—but we still have space available for new projects over the coming months.

Welcome to the team, Tom 👊

Its been a while…
The start of the year has been a busy one for us, with several larger projects running back-to-back. As a result, we’ve been spending more time on site than on social media.

We’re now coming towards the end of these bigger jobs and have availability opening up from August onwards.

This is one of the smaller jobs we’ve completed recently after a customer had a new porch fitted and wanted the surrounding areas patched and blended in.

Not every customer wants the most expensive solution, and we understand that. Our aim is always to provide honest advice, work within budget where possible, and deliver a finish we’re proud to put our name to.

Whether it’s a small repair or a larger project, we
approach every job the same way.
We currently have availability from August, so if you’re considering any plastering, rendering or repair work, feel free to get in touch.

We try not to work them due to other commitments but we had a busy Saturday this Saturday.
Completed a few of these porches with a local carpenter and really pleased with the final product every time. Not only happy with the finish but considering the rain and hailstones 🤬I had it survived 🙏.
Tom was just as busy with this curved ceiling a few doors down, with one of the bigger ceilings he’s done to date with a curve. Completing it with no help or guidance from myself, he’s really showing a great future in the trade 💪🏻.

Been a bit of a strange start to the year, we were back for the first week of January for a few smaller jobs but after a busy couple of months a bit of time off was much needed (after working through Xmas).

Fully recovered we started with this holiday chalet.
A two coat sand and cement smooth/alpine finish. We had to put the lines in once we made the wall smooth to match other chalets on the park.

We never recommend rendering this time of year but unfortunately it’s the only time of year anyone can do work externally on these properties…….with a lot of rain dodging we got there in the end, would I want to do it again?…..No Comment 🥵😂
