🎨 Recent Job Completed in Swanage

A lovely transformation on this property in Swanage.
The front door was in really poor condition, with severe cracks that were allowing daylight through. We fully sanded and repaired the door, fitted a new 6mm ply section to the inside, resin-filled the damaged areas, primed it and finished with two coats of Dulux Weathershield Exterior Gloss in a dark green.

We also wallpapered the hallway from the picture rail upwards using a beautiful, high-end wallpaper, bringing the entrance of the property back to life.

✨ Bringing 19th-Century Indonesian Timberwork Back to Life

A recent project completed at a beautiful property in Studland, featuring these stunning 19th-century timber porch posts, which had recently been installed by the customer. Originally crafted in Indonesia, these beautifully carved posts have incredible character and detail

The posts were carefully sanded back, with all cracks and imperfections treated using a UV-protected epoxy before being sprayed with two coats of clear Osmo oil.

The exterior masonry was refreshed in Cottage Cream, bringing the whole frontage back to life.
The double doors, windows and garage door were all sanded and finished with teak oil, protecting the timber while enhancing its natural colour and character.

A fantastic project featuring some truly unique Indonesian timberwork — a real pleasure to restore and bring back to its best. 🎨

Another exterior transformation completed! 🎨🏡

This property had extensive flaking masonry paint, with the walls in such poor condition that the majority of the old coating had to be scraped back before any decorating could begin.

Before painting, we thoroughly cleaned all the fascias, soffits and downpipes, and carefully taped and protected all the windows to ensure a clean, professional finish.

We then applied over 25 litres of Sandtex Stabilising Solution to properly seal the walls, followed by two coats of Sandtex Smooth Masonry in Magnolia.

We also refreshed the downpipes with a Hammerite Gloss Black finish to complete the transformation.

A huge amount of preparation went into this project, but the end result has completely brought this property back to life.

🚨From Poor Workmanship to a Quality Finish🌟

We recently completed this project for a lovely customer who had recently moved to Swanage. After being left disappointed by the standard of the plastering and decorating, done by the last tradesmen, we were asked to put everything right.

Following behind Truly Handy , who completed the skirting boards, flooring and bespoke cupboards, we finished the walls in White Cotton and the woodwork in a durable satin finish.

Another quality finish and another happy customer.✅️

✨ Not Your Average Paint Finish ✨

This was my first time trying lime wash, and I was honest with the customer from the start that while I was happy to take it on, I couldn't guarantee the exact result. After following all the recommended steps, I was surprised with how it turned out. The customer loves it

If you dont know what Lime wash is it creates a soft, natural finish with plenty of depth and texture. Unlike standard paint, it gives a aged, chalky appearance that catches the light differently throughout the day, meaning no two walls ever look exactly the same. It's perfect for adding character and warmth to a space.

What a difference on this property! 🏡

Our first step was to thoroughly jet wash all the exterior pebble-dash walls, removing years of dirt, algae,

We then applied Dulux Weathershield Brilliant White to all the exterior walls, giving the house a fresh, clean, and modern appearance.

The windows and doors were carefully preped sanded, stain-blocked, and top-coated in a stunning Olive Green finish. The new colour complements the property perfectly and really makes the features stand out against the crisp white walls.

I recently had the pleasure of working at the beautiful Studland House . The fascias, soffits and gables hadn’t been painted in over 10 years, so as you can imagine there was a lot of preparation involved before any paint could go on.

All of the gutters were carefully sanded back and treated with a red oxide primer to help prevent rust and give a solid base for the finish. The woodwork was then fully prepped and finished with two undercoats and two top coats of Dulux Weathershield flexible paint to ensure a long-lasting, durable finish that will stand up to the elements.

A lot of time and care went into getting everything looking fresh again, and it was great to see the transformation once the work was complete.

And I have to say — it’s not every day you get views like this while you’re working!

Another exterior job completed ✅️

This property had several cracks across the back wall which were filled and prepared before painting to ensure a smooth, long-lasting finish.
We also repaired the garage door and frame, removing all rust and treating the rusted areas to help prevent future rust before repainting.
