A bit of a freshen up for the fleet today 👌

Our 8-tonne excavator has had its signwriting refreshed and the Transit tipper has finally had the Wheatley colours added too.

Both are used pretty much daily across our groundwork and construction projects, so it was about time they looked the part!

Bank Holiday Monday put to good use 💪

A big push on the superstructure today with a serious amount of blockwork laid and this one really starting to take shape.

External and internal walls progressing nicely, cavities insulated as we go and plenty achieved in a day.

We’re carrying out the superstructure package on this project, taking it from slab level up through the brick and blockwork.

Good progress on this one 👌

Three days on the superstructure and we’ve taken this extension from floor level through to wall plate, ready for the roof to be completed.

Blockwork, facing brickwork, openings and gables all completed by our team.

We’re carrying out the groundworks and superstructure package on behalf of the main contractor on this project, before handing it back over for the remaining trades.

Another good example of the packages we can offer to builders and main contractors who need a reliable groundwork and brickwork team to get projects out of the ground and built up.

Good progress on this one this week 👷‍♂️

Following on from the 2m deep foundations we had to tackle at the start of this job, we’ve now got the substructure completed and the new floor poured.

Hardcore in and compacted, sand blinded, DPM and insulation installed and concrete floor finished ready for us to start taking the brickwork up.

We’re carrying out the groundworks and superstructure package on this extension for another local builder, taking it from the old conservatory right through to wall plate.

Been a challenging start with the depth of the foundations, but it’s moving along nicely now. 👍

🏡 Another extension underway this week!

We’re 3 days into the groundwork and superstructure package on this extension for one of the builders we work alongside.

The existing conservatory has been removed, site cleared and set out, foundations excavated and concrete poured — ready to start bringing it back up.

This one wasn’t quite as straightforward underground as it might look, with the foundations having to go down to around 2 metres deep, but we’re making good progress.

Next up ➡️ substructure, floor and then onto the superstructure.

We undertake groundwork and brickwork packages for builders and contractors, as well as extension and building work for private customers.

🧱 Another extension ready for the roof!

We’ve now completed the brickwork and blockwork on this substantial extension, with the superstructure brought up ready for the roof structure to go on.

There’s been plenty involved in this one, including matching into the existing property and laying the new facing brickwork in traditional Flemish bond.

Really pleased with how it’s coming together and it’ll be great to see the transformation once the roof is on.

🧱 Progress update – Extension in Quorn

After a slight delay waiting for the brick delivery, we’re now making great progress.

It also turns out this project is being built in traditional Flemish bond, which is a far more detailed and labour-intensive brickwork pattern than standard stretcher bond. It takes extra time and attention to detail, but the finished result is well worth it.

Really pleased with how this one is coming together so far. Looking forward to pushing on over the coming weeks and seeing the extension take shape.

Day 2 on site and another good shift completed. 💪

All of the internal blockwork is now up to scaffold height. We’ve had a small setback with the brick delivery, but that’s out of our hands. As soon as they’re on site, we’ll be cracking on and pushing the build forward.

Watch this space—this extension is going to come together quickly. 🧱
