Alistair is off on his 56 mile trek 🚲 and supporting our cause , you can see all updates from the South Derbyshire District Council page .

❤️🪨 THE KINDNESS OF CHILDREN NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE US 🪨❤️

Over the summer holidays, lots of families have been away enjoying some well-deserved time together. ☀️🏖️

Three amazing families were brought to our attention after their children did something truly incredible while on holiday.

Like most children at the beach, they collected stones and little rocks… but instead of simply taking them home, or selling them to buy themselves some sweets or chocolate, they decided to colour them, sell them and raise money for Miles for Smiles. ❤️

And they did it completely off their own backs.

Just stop and think about that for a moment…

Children so young, enjoying their holidays, thinking about helping other children and families rather than themselves. 🥹❤️

That is something truly special.

They could have spent their time making money for themselves, but instead they wanted to make a difference to others — and we honestly couldn’t be more proud of them.

Together, these incredible youngsters have raised OVER £130 for Miles for Smiles! 😱❤️

Seeing Annie and her family make these incredible memories is the heart behind everything we do at Miles for Smiles.

When traveling abroad with complex needs comes with steep financial hurdles—from specialist equipment to high insurance costs—a family getaway can feel completely out of reach. We’re so honored that we could lighten that load and help give Annie and her family the relaxing, joy-filled break they so truly deserve.
