19 years self-employed this week.

Honestly, I’m not feeling quite as celebratory about it as I thought I might. I’m a little tired, a little deflated, and perhaps just in need of a reminder of how far I’ve actually come.

Because 19 years is a long time.

19 years of taking the risks, riding the highs, weathering the lows, learning, adapting, starting again and keeping going.

So I’m going to give myself a little pat on the back today. Not because everything is perfect, but because I’m still here.

Been at this customers lovely Tudor house this week giving the hall stairs and landing an upgrade, the entrance ceiling was crumbling so we over boarded and skimmed it , ceiling upstairs painted in Johnstone's cova plus vinyl matt mixed to Farrow and balls dimity, walls ,picture rail and entrance ceiling painted in Johnstone's cleanable matt mixed to Farrow and ball scallop and upstairs woodwork finished in Benjamin Moore aura interior matt mixed to farrow and ball green smoke
