SVGA Visit to Nettlestead Place
Sunday 7th June 2026 at 2.30pm
Please park in Nettlestead Court Farm farmyard, clearly signed on the B2015 (do not go down the Nettlestead Place drive itself which is between Nettlestead Court Farm and Nettlestead Church). You can walk into the garden from the farmyard – there is a fairly obvious route in - and I suggest you make your way towards the house, Nettlestead Place.
All the main areas in the garden are accessible by wheelchair, although the areas at the bottom under a steep slope the difficulties of which are obvious. There are steps in the garden up to the main Rose Garden and up from the main Rose Garden but there are alternative entries and exits to the Rose Garden by a longer route which do not involve steps.
The cost of this afternoon is £10 per person. Please let Ross know if you would like to go. There are no tea rooms on site but locally there are two quite close by.

Visited Bijou Nursery in Wateringbury last Saturday 4th April. What a lovely little nursery with lots of plants, both bedding and perennial. Prices are very competitive with the larger garden centers and you get 10% discount on all full price items.
Well worth a visit if you're in the area, or even if you're not!
