Another consumer unit upgrade completed this week ⚡️

This property needed a new consumer unit to accommodate an additional circuit for a new air conditioning installation, as the existing board had no spare ways available.

We upgraded the installation to a modern FuseBox RCBO consumer unit with integrated surge protection, providing individual circuit protection, improved fault isolation and room for future expansion.

We also simplified the existing installation by removing the separate EV consumer unit and incorporating those circuits into the new board, leaving the installation cleaner, more organised and easier to maintain.

Every installation is fully tested, certified and clearly labelled before handover.

Before launching Amplify Electrical Ltd, I completely renovated my own flat from top to bottom⚡️

Everything was ripped out and redone from scratch - new ceilings, kitchen, bathroom, a full electrical upgrade, and modern LED lighting throughout.

⚡️Garden Room Install⚡️

A few shots from a recent garden room install completed in . The client wanted an all-black finish for the accessories, so we sourced some black sockets and back box’s from , and used some of the black interchangeable bezels on the prism pro down-lights to tie everything together perfectly.
Really happy with how this one turned out-another clean install and another happy customer 💪

Final day of the rewire! ⚡️ Here’s a before and after shot, along with a short video, from the final day of a rewire we have just finished! The property has had a full rewire top to bottom, all whilst the clients have been living there - not the most glamorous of jobs admittedly, but nonetheless completed to the highest standard, and ahead of schedule!
The customers were over the moon with the job (just check the google reviews 👀) and all went exactly to plan.
The property is now safe for use and up to date with all current wiring regulations. The installation was designed with full consideration for the clients’ future plans in the house, as this is part of an ongoing renovation project, and has included circuits ready for a new kitchen.

(For anyone wondering, the isolated circuits were for the kitchen, and were disconnected following the pictures)

⚡️ Fuse Board Upgrade In Lichfield 💪. A recent double decker consumer unit upgrade completed for a customer who decided they were due a more modern, and safer installation for their property… and we delivered! This new board complies with all new updates to the BS7671 wiring regulations. This old, ‘split - load’ style board was cutting edge at the time, but nowadays is outdated, and can cause nuisance tripping.
Now, fitted with RCBOs, each circuit has its own independent fault protection, meaning if there is a fault, only that particular circuit is affected. No more half of the house going off!
Finished off with a neat and tidy install, as always! 🫡
