✔️ Thoroughly cleaned and prepared surfaces
✔️ Re-sealed shower
✔️ Checked for leaks and water ingress

Spent some time helping out at a family friend’s house, with my little apprentice lending a hand 👷‍♂️👍🏼

A big project completed for this customer, converting their old traditional heating system over to a modern combi boiler system ✅

Work carried out:

✔️ Removed old boiler
✔️ Removed hot water cylinder
✔️ Removed loft tanks
✔️ Installed new combi boiler
✔️ Installed mains booster pump to achieve the required flow rates for the new system
✔️ Removed old shower pump from under the bath
✔️ Installed Hive smart thermostat
✔️ Full system powerflush completed
✔️ Property fully protected throughout the works
✔️ System tested, commissioned and signed off

The result is a much more efficient heating and hot water system, with no tanks in the loft, no cylinder taking up space and improved control through Hive 🔥

To top it all off, the customer now has the peace of mind of a 10-year warranty on their new boiler 👍🏼

🚫Blocked drain cleared 🪠

Called out to an upstairs bathroom with a blockage causing drainage issues 🚽❌

After investigating, the blockage was traced further down the drainage system and found to be caused by a build-up of wet wipes.

Work carried out:
✔️ Located source of blockage
✔️ Cleared blocked drain
✔️ Restored proper flow
✔️ Tested system afterwards

Everything now draining freely again and flowing as it should 🌊

A reminder that even “flushable” wipes can cause serious blockages and should be disposed of in the bin, not down the toilet 👍🏼
