Another new-build garden finished. This one sat on a slope, so we split it into levels, with stone retaining walls holding each tier, a patio up top and fresh turf laid on every level.

Over 500 projects completed across Sunderland and the North East, Checkatrade approved, with guarantees to match. If your garden has a slope you have never quite known what to do with, request a free survey at forthcominggroup.com or call 0191 716 5095.

Gardens in the North East have a problem that a lot of gardens down south never deal with. Heavy ground and a lot of rain, so the lawn can sit like a sponge right through till March.

That is why we make sure every patio has the correct fall, so the water runs away from the house instead of sitting on the slabs. A garden designed for somewhere dry does not always survive up here.

So if you are pulling inspiration off the internet, it is worth checking where that garden was built. We plan every garden around the ground it is actually sitting on, across Sunderland, Newcastle, Northumberland, Teesside and County Durham.

If you would like a garden that copes with our weather, request a free survey at forthcominggroup.com or call 0191 716 5095.

Ever wondered why one patio is still flat ten years later, and the one next door lifts after a couple of winters? Same slabs. Different groundwork.

That's how we build patios across Sunderland and the North East. If you're planning one, request a free survey at forthcominggroup.com or call 0191 716 5095.

If your fence looks like it's about to fall down after a bit of strong wind, here's something worth knowing before you replace the panels. Nine times out of ten, the panels aren't the problem. It's the posts. They've usually rotted at the ground, or they were never set deep enough in the first place.

Fitting new panels to a dodgy post can mean paying for the same job again in a couple of months. Done properly, we dig deep enough, set the posts in postcrete and let it set, so the fence stays up whatever the weather.

If your fence is leaning, we're happy to take a look. Request a free survey at forthcominggroup.com or call 0191 716 5095. Done properly, across Sunderland and the North East.
