First day back after the summer holidays. Straight into it with these 2 double sockets added to the upstairs socket circuit for a dressing table. (20a MCB before people ask why I have spurred off a spur). Tidy job if I do say so myself.

This type is stuff really annoys me! Another electrician came out and changed this board in an 85 year old woman’s home and left her with this. Garage DB not even secured to the wall with massive gaps in the back. Why would anyone leave it like this? We were there to change a light so the woman could come home from hospital but couldn’t leave this like this, so secured it properly for free.

Adding these ikea lights to this dressing area. I think it looks great and a first for me.
