A few upgrades for the MTP Luxury Bathrooms van today... 🔊🚐

The factory sound system wasn't bad, but it definitely left a lot to be desired. So I decided it was time for a proper upgrade.

✅ Full door sound deadening.
✅ Focal Inside component speakers.
✅ OEM look retained.

⏳ Existing 12" active subwoofer to be fitted next.
The biggest difference so far? The clarity. Vocals now sound like they're coming from the dashboard instead of the doors, and the whole cabin feels much more solid thanks to the sound deadening.

Sometimes it's the little upgrades that make spending hours behind the wheel that much more enjoyable.
Next job... get the subwoofer connected and finish the system off. 🔥

Which trade goes the extra mile? 👀

Today I've spent nearly 6 hours creating access through an old rendered wall into an extension, just to get a shower waste exactly where it needed to be.

Why?

Because I refuse to fit a shower tray 12 inches off the floor when I know it can be installed properly, flush to the floor, giving the customer a far better finish.
Nobody will ever see the work that's gone into this once it's finished... but that's exactly the point.

The best trades don't take shortcuts. They solve problems.

So... let's settle the debate...

🚿 MARC'S BATHROOM TIPS 🚿

Welcome to the very first Marc's Bathroom Tips!

Every Wednesday I'll be sharing simple, practical advice to help you get the most from your bathroom and keep it looking its best for years to come.

💡 Tip #1 – Keep your shower screen looking like new.

When your new shower screen is first installed, it will usually come with a protective coating designed to help repel water and reduce the build-up of limescale and soap residue.

To keep that protection performing at its best, I recommend applying an automotive rain repellent (the type designed for car windscreens) every so often. It encourages the water to bead and run off the glass, helping to reduce water marks and making cleaning much easier.

After each shower, simply use a squeegee followed by a quick wipe with a microfibre cloth. It only takes a few seconds but can keep your shower screen looking as good as the day it was installed.

It's a small habit that makes a huge difference.
