A throwback to one done earlier this year in birch ply for local joinery company Malvern Carpentry to be used as a centerpiece on the new welcome desk when they did a revamp/ refit at The Malvern Museum.

An interesting place to visit now you know it exists at the gate house of the Malvern Priory.

Something a little bit different last week at short notice after a number of other CNC companies failed to get back to the customer.

From the initial messages on the Monday morning, 19 components cut from birch ply, assembled and installed, a Skoda Ywti camp bed construction with handy storage box, which can also house the components, left the workshop on Friday evening.

1 very happy couple and they were able to embark on their camping trip to France on Saturday morning.

A job done earlier this year making 3 mechanical lifting training blocks.

Each one constructed from 2 separate pieces, each cross laminated for stability, and cut with the addition of locator dowels for precise alignment when assembled and holes countersunk .

Jigs made for some of the side details and drilling the holes on the vertical surfaces , with stainless steel threaded inserts added and then filled and sanded before heading into the paint room.

The customer didn't like their 2 piece larder unit doors, so we made 3 of single door replacements plus a smaller door with the same size rails to replace one that had previously been cut down to fit, all out of moisture resistant mdf. Now off to be spray painted to match.

A recent project we have been working on the drawings for, being cut on the machine today.

Very satisfying when your drawings take place and become a final product.

The reveal can now be shown after The hop shed have their first open evening since installation. A lot of customers turned out this evening to enjoy some of the finest locally brewed ales in the 3 counties and the delicious fish and chip night.

One exterior sign made from tricoya mdf and the internal one made from moisture resistant mdf. Both with remote control colour selective or colour changing lights. Painted white internally, and matt black on the outside, with the front panel set onto an opaque white acrylic.

Like the customer, we are really happy with how these illumunated signs have turned out. It is well worth going to see them in the flesh, even if it's just an excuse to taste the amazing beer or enjoy whatever fine cuisine happens to be laid on during your visit.

Last week we were cutting some moisture resistant mdf and tricoya mdf and some opaque white acrylic for a rather cool project that we installed yesterday.

Final installed pictures to be revealed at the end of the week.

Sometimes we have to do little jobs for ourselves. Design and make a jig for cutting tapered table legs on the table saw for the joinery side of the business, and a little sign for making sure we receive deliveries as we can be a little hard to find sometimes.
