Ok, the holiday posts are about to come to an end (you can all breathe a sigh of relief!)... 😂
But here's a little reminder of what it’s actually like to be a publican...
Picture this: I'm away in a foreign country this morning, soaking up the last bits of sun, when I get a message from one of our B&B guests:
The shower isn’t working properly! 😫
(Luckily, he’s a regular and was sound about it! 🙌)
So, straight from my sun lounger on my last day, I'm messaging the legendary Rmc gas services! 📱☀️
You might remember them saving us from a boiler disaster just last month! 🦸♂️
And once again, they’ve performed a miracle, squeezing us into their fully booked day to get it sorted! Absolute legends! 🙌
But back to the most important part of any story: me! 😉
Even on holiday, I’m still playing landlord and arranging plumbers. In what other job are you fixing work crises from across the continent? 🤷♂️
It’s a hard life, this pub malarkey... but I still absolutely love it! ❤️
Now I cannot wait to get back to my boys, my beautiful fiancée...
and the pub…I guess! 🍻🤪
