Apparently it’s International Dog Day… so obviously Head of Sniff & Safety needed a post. 🐶💚

George has been taking an extended period of leave from his Langfords duties (with a very generous treat package, we might add 🙄😂), but we’re pleased to report he’s doing well.

He’s hoping to be back on patrol in the next couple of weeks — checking deliveries, supervising the office and generally making sure absolutely nothing gets done without his approval.

And a very Happy International Dog Day to all of George’s doggy friends — especially all our customers’ dogs! 🐾 We meet so many while we’re out measuring and fitting and, quite honestly, they’re often our favourite part of the visit. 🤫😂❤️

We hope they’re all being thoroughly spoilt today… although if they’re anything like George, they’ll tell you that should be happening every day. 🙄😂

First week back was… interesting. 😩😂

But we’re back into the swing of things now!

One thing we’ve learnt after years of making kitchens is that more expensive doesn’t automatically mean better.

There are things we absolutely LOVE and would recommend all day long… and there are others that we might quietly suggest you save your money on. 👀😂

It’s never about adding things for the sake of it.

If it’s worth it, we’ll tell you.

If we don’t think it is… we’ll tell you that too.

You’re always going to get an honest answer from us. ❤️

Holiday mode is well and truly ON… so today’s kitchen advice is coming straight from the balcony! ☀️🚢😂

Keeping this one short because Cartagena is waiting… and to be honest I’m feeling lazy. 🤪🤦🏼‍♀️

Meanwhile, all is going brilliantly back home — kitchens are being built, the workshop is busy and everyone is managing perfectly well without me. Rude, really. 😂

So I’ll continue my very important role of checking in from various sunny locations and offering the occasional bit of kitchen advice. 😎

I promised I’d try to switch off for a couple of weeks… but here’s one little kitchen tip before I do. 😄

A new kitchen is the perfect excuse for a clear-out and a refresh.

Keep the things you love, get rid of the things you don’t, and you’ll end up with storage that really works for you.

Right… I’m off to find some tapas! 🇪🇸🍷
