Everyone has their kitchen non-negotiables… these are some of ours. 👀💚🤍
When we’re designing a kitchen, it’s very easy to get caught up in how everything is going to look — the colour, the handles, the worktops, the door style…
But some of our favourite details are the ones that simply make a kitchen nicer to live with every day.
A drawer where you can actually see and reach everything. A pantry that gives all the food, gadgets and general kitchen chaos somewhere to live. Appliances that can disappear behind closed doors. An island that does far more than just look pretty.
And obviously, somewhere lovely to keep the drinks.
That’s one of the nicest things about making everything from scratch. We’re not trying to fit your life into a set collection of cupboards — we can think about what you actually own, how you use your kitchen and what would genuinely make it work better for you.
Some of these are practical. Some are a little indulgent. And some — yes, drawer pegs, we’re looking at you — we will continue recommending at every available opportunity.
Because the best kitchen features aren’t necessarily the biggest or the fanciest.
They’re the ones you end up appreciating every single day. 💚🤍
