The weekly influx of pre-orders means it's a good time to be dipping into that pre-orders section. In brand new stuff, new albums are on the way from Johnny Marr, Blossoms, The Snuts, Eels, Squirrel Flower, Julia Jacklin, Do Nothing + loads more!

Big nudge for the Pulp 'Live!' album announced earlier this week, too.

Not new-new but first time on vinyl new, well worth checking out 'New You' by Orgone. On Colemine Records, it is slick and timeless funk and soul that will certainly tickle a few of you who are generally aboard the Colemine train.

In reissues, the big ones this week are the reissues of the first three Bring Me The Horizon albums. Also announced, five Mojave 3 reissues which have slipped in un-noticed!

In addition, The Smiths repress 'Best... I' and 'Best... 2' which is fantastic news!

All these and plenty more. Pre-order online at the link below or ask at the counter in-store:

The heavy-loaded pre-order train just keeps on a-rolling this week, with loads more new releases and reissues announced in the past few days, all available to pre-order with us right now.

In brand new music, the popular Hermanos Gutiérrez return with new LP 'Los Ojos del Cóndor' and iconic rock band The Afghan Whigs also return with a new album, 'Soft Control', due August. There's also brand new stuff from Dublin's Meryl Streek (well worth checking out if you like politically charged stuff and you're new to the Streek party), new Ellie Goulding, new Weezer, and the always-fun Ibibio Sound Machine.

Special shout-out to the brand new album from Black Marble, one of our Lee's very favourite cold-wave/synth-wave artists!

Onto the world of reissues and announced in the last couple of hours, a special picture disc/zoetrope edition of Jamie T's second album, 'Kings & Queens', and black vinyl represses of Pixies 'Bossanova' and 'Trompe le Monde' (unpopular opinion: their first and second best albums). Elsewhere, there are THREE Jane Weaver album reissues, and a reissue of Ian Dury's 'Bus Driver's Prayer'.

All these and, breathe, so much more, all available to pre-order now:

We'll be there, of course. Snaffling a spicy Korean tofu bowl with a bit of luck, portion of crack chips perchance, washing it down with a lovely Guinness. Bit of sun? Bloody hope so.

Oh and we're gonna be selling some records there too. I forgot that bit. Some high quality used.

11 - 3, nice chilled Sunday vibes. Lovely jubbly.

Time to check-in on Pre-Order Land - as always loads of great releases announced lately and all available to order with us in-store and online.

There's a new surprise mini-album from BIG SPECIAL coming out THIS FRIDAY. It'll be coveted of course so pre-ordering is highly suggested.

In the past few days brand new albums have been announced from Ezra Collective, Inspiral Carpets, Babe Rainbow, Role Model, Paul Heaton, The Durutti Column + much more. There is also a new-not-new album from The Cramps, which is very exciting!

Newly announced reissues include Insane Clown Posse, Black Sabbath (Seventh Star), Gene Loves Jezebel, and an expanded edition of Wet Leg's latest 'Moisturizer'

All these and more can be seen (and usually heard) right here:

💣 It has been frankly a bit of an absurd week or so for big pre-order drops. There is far more than we can get through without everyone getting bored so, as always, you'll want a greedy bank holiday spool through everything at the link below, but in brief...

Lots of big-name and favourite-name reissue type stuff announced last week, including releases from Echo and the Bunnymen, New Order, Chris Cornell, Hot Chip, Specials, Thin Lizzy, Scritti Politti, Nancy Sinatra, ACR, Wooden Shjips and more! Special mention for one of our Lee's very favourite bands of the noughties, ¡Forward, Russia!, who finally reissue their incendiary debut 'Give Me A Wall'

A big one for the proper brand new stuff too, with pre-orders up on brand new Gurriers (if you've slept on them to now and like Fontaines, Geese, Wunderhorse - get them checked out), Arab Strap, Getdown Services, Dexys, Daniel Lanois, plus the "lost Slipknot album" 'Look Outside Your Window'. Special shout to the new album pre-order from Sweeping Promises, a band whose previous two albums bought plenty of joy into the shop and so are of course well worth looking at.

All these and more, here as always:
