This week sees the last of my events and sessions with Fruits of The Forest.

From September Fruits of the Forest will be closing after nearly 10 years in business.

But i will be amalgamating it with The Fine Collective CIC where are able to offer more targeted and community work as well as continue some of the work I have offered through Fruits of The Forest.

These last few days we have been working to support children and families that have been affected by the fires.

As part of that work we are offering any families who have been affected by the fire to attend our family festival on Thursday.

All the details are on the flyer below.

These spaces are only open to those who have been affected.

All other tickets have now sold out.

It feels a very difficult time right now but I hope on Thursday we can spread a little joy and allow children time to play freely and connect to their friends.

I can't wait to see so many familiar faces on Thursday for one last celebration of my little business that has been my life so long!

Tp support those affected by the fires

This was our first garden design commission back in 2019 for H Porter & Sons Funeral Directors 💚

We just had to share this. It's hard to believe that in six short years, our staff wellbeing garden has gone from bare earth to this blooming piece of paradise!

In these warm summer months, we use it regularly to unwind, take a break and cool down. If you run a business and have a small piece of land, we highly recommend creating a small garden - we can't overstate the benefits it will bring to your team.

Thank you so much to the local gardening experts at Hortulani for helping us design and nurture this wonderful asset.

Thanks to The Fine Collective CIC and Bluebase Foundation we are fortunate to support children in local schools every week, where we help them to learn about horticulture through gardening activities. As well as the exercise and other wellbeing benefits that gardening brings, the children also experience working as a team to create special green spaces for their schools, including the wildlife that is abundant within them. Time outdoors gardening in the fresh air keeps us topped up with vitamin D and connected with nature across all seasons. It's fair to say that we're really excited about the new school year ahead!

Well done Chilwell Croft Academy gardeners. Your wheelbarrow looked fantastic! 💚🌱💚

Students had the exciting opportunity to visit Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC — and they absolutely shone! The children threw themselves into transforming a simple wheelbarrow into a vibrant, imaginative mini‑garden bursting with sustainable ideas.
Once their creations were complete, the students proudly showcased their wheelbarrow at the NEC.

They had a fantastic time chatting with visitors, sharing their creative choices, and explaining the eco‑friendly features they built into their display.

Come along and celebrate 💚

Come along to our free Summer solstice celebration, with craft, refreshments, sculpture, gardening and more.

Join us in The Commons outside Midland Metropolitan University Hospital on Monday, 22nd June, 3:30 - 6:00 PM 🌻

We're celebrating a season of growing in the garden and looking forward to what's to come. We'll be making clay sculptures with the fabulous Poppy Becke, planting sunflower seedlings grown by a local primary school with the wonderful Hortulani, weaving garden decorations, seed saving, decorating seed packets, and drinking and eating lots of refreshments.
