Professionally Crafted Natural & Man-Made Stone Worktops & Bespoke Installations for your Project

13/10/2026

Stone worktops don’t have to be flat, polished and shiny.

There are so many ways to add texture, detail and individuality to natural stone and quartz surfaces — turning a practical worktop into a real design feature.

Think fluted finishes for added depth and texture, elegant stone architraves to frame key areas, precision-cut sink drain grooves for a seamless finish, or a leathered surface for a softer, more tactile look with less reflection.

These details can completely change the character of a kitchen, bathroom or utility space, adding craftsmanship and personality while still keeping the durability and practicality you expect from stone.

Sometimes it’s the finishing touches that make the biggest difference.

A beautiful stone worktop deserves more than just a great finish — it deserves, and needs, expert installation.

Whether you choose quartz, granite, porcelain or another natural stone, professional installation is essential to achieving the perfect result. Stone worktops are heavy, precisely fabricated and often include delicate cut-outs for sinks, hobs and sockets, so accurate fitting makes all the difference. No-one wants to look at large gaps after budgeting carefully for a beautiful stone!

Experienced installers ensure joints are aligned neatly, surfaces are properly supported and level, and every section fits exactly as intended. This not only improves the appearance of your kitchen, but also helps protect your investment from avoidable damage, movement or stress over time.

From careful handling to the final fit and finish, professional installation is what turns a quality worktop into a truly finished kitchen.

Our experienced fitters have years of experience in handling and installing all types of stones and know what's required.

This stunning contemporary kitchen extension perfectly blends a variety of carefully thought out design ideas to provide the clients with a calm, social and functional space that can be enjoyed every day and for more formal occasions.

The centrepiece kitchen island is made with Fior De Bosco honed marble, which is very tactile and full of deep features.

The client also chose Dekton Grafite for the sink area. Dekton is highly durable and perfect for working spaces.

The final area with stone is the fabulous, large utility area, where they used BQS Biano Venatino, which again is a highly practical and stylish choice.

Why are quartz worktops so popular?
This is an easy question to answer!
Quartz is the perfect solution for those looking for a stylish, expensive looking finish, while also requiring a durable and low maintenance option.
Because quartz is man made, there are numerous finishes available including marble effect, added metallic flecks for a touch of sparkle, solid blocks in bold, bright colours, or more subtle off white's, blacks & natural tones.
There's an option for every interior!
With a quick wipe using a gentle soap and water, it's easy to keep clean too.
Our expert fabricators will cut & finish your quartz to the exact measurements and ensure it's installed perfectly.
If you'd like to view some of the options available or talk more about quartz, please pop into our Storrington showroom, or give us a call

At LBS Stone Collection, we’re proud to stock an exceptional selection of natural stone from Cereser, one of Italy’s most respected names in the marble industry.

Founded in 1965 near Verona, Cereser has spent more than 60 years developing its expertise in natural stone. What began as a small marble processing business, has grown into an internationally recognised company, combining generations of Italian craftsmanship with modern technology, rigorous material selection and a real passion for the best stone.

It’s that attention to quality that makes Cereser such a natural fit for the LBS Stone Collection. Their slabs are selected and processed with incredible care, allowing the unique veining, colour and character of each stone to take centre stage. From timeless marbles to striking quartzites, onyxes and other distinctive natural materials, their unique collection represents exactly what we love about working with stone: no two pieces are ever quite the same.

We choose to stock Cereser because their approach mirrors our own - a respect for the material, an uncompromising focus on quality and a belief that the right stone can completely transform a space.

Italian heritage, exceptional craftsmanship and some truly beautiful natural stone. That’s why Cereser continues to be a firm favourite at LBS.

If you'd like to know more about using Italian marble in your property, please either pop into our Storrington showroom, or give us a call - we're always happy to have an informal chat.

We've just taken delivery of the most gorgeous slab of quartzite.

The grey and wet day here in Storrington, doesn't do the colour justice, but we can assure you that this Persa Green quartzite is truly stunning.

Quartzite is one of our favourite stones. Not only is each slab unique, it's one of the toughest natural stones available, making it very resistant to scratches and every day wear in busy kitchens.

It also withstands heat well, although we'd always recommend still using a trivet.

Once it's delivered to you sealed and cut, and installed by us if you wish, quartzite only really requires a wipe with a mild soap and warm water to stay clean, so it'll look perfect for years.

This piece is going to be a real conversation starter and we're sure the clients are going to be very happy with it.

If you'd like us to source a piece of quartzite for your worktops, please do not hesitate to give us a call or pop into our Storrington showroom.
