Wow!!
The amazing team at Design Interiors have knocked it out of the park again with this stunning kitchen.
We've worked with them on numerous occasions and supplied some stunning stones, but this one was particularly special.
The choice to use Taj Mahal quartzite for the centre island was perfect, and this beautiful natural stone features a stunning mix of natural tones including creams, yellows, browns and golds. This was the perfect option to blend the natural wood and earthy tones of the rest of the kitchen together.
This kitchen also features Dekton Albarium on other worktops, which is highly durable and practical.
Well done to everyone involved. It looks spectacular and we're sure the clients will enjoy it for many years to come.

We've listed a few options below and included some pros and cons, cost, durability and styling possibilities.

Granite
Pros: Granite is extremely durable and resistant to heat, scratches and stains — perfect for BBQ areas and poolside kitchens. Low maintenance, it won’t fade easily under sun exposure.
Cons: Can be expensive compared to other stones. The surface can be slippery when wet if polished. It requires regular maintenance
Cost: Typically £50–£120 per m² depending on colour and finish.
Styling: Granite is available in a huge variety of colours and patterns, from classic grey to speckled blacks and blues

Quartzite
Pros: Quartzite is a natural stone which is hard and durable like granite but often more visually striking, with superb veining and colour variation. Resistant to heat, scratching and staining, making it an excellent choice for outdoor kitchens and bars.
Cons: Can be pricey and polished finishes may be slippery. Needs occasional sealing to maintain stain resistance.
