Ticking along quietly in Flintstone Gardens. Been away for a few days with friends before college kicks back in next week, and im limited in the days I can work. Autumn winter means weekends and wednesdays. Last year of countryside management. For anyone who has recieved my auto message over the last few days I will get back to you very soon, thanking all for patience. The garden slowly recovers from a absolute heatwave battering. Autumn tidy up and tree work soon, but there will always be roses. 🧙‍♂️🌷

The Hedgehog is finally living in the natural Hedgehog house at the bottom of the garden. We will try to get some footage of his nightly emergence. Good to see the Hedgehog has survived a harsh summer. There's also a field mouse living in the brush pile up the top.🧙‍♂️🦔

Phone broke last weekend, not the one. Almost set up on a new one now. How's the garden doing in the drought. We have tried to be as conservative with water as possible, and its currently surviving on water at the base of the plants every two days. The flower beds hanging on in there, just harvested the corncockles for magic fairy seeds. Wildlife garden doing OK, dry in places, other bits doing well. Pond plant growing like a triffid. Bees, butterfly's, and a hummingbird hawk moth loving the lavender still, thing growing behind the bird bath, no clue what, seems determined, I'm not fighting through bees to pull it. Herb garden looking well, back of the garden like autumn, many incoming Robin attacks from our new King Robin. One of the June fledgings is all red now, and he's decided it's his garden.. The new baby's are getting dive bombed and sent elsewhere. My clemantis is also fighting for its life. As always folks, stay wildfire aware 🧙‍♂️🐦🌷
