⚡ ANOTHER BUSY WEEK AT HADLEY ELECTRICAL ⚡

We're finally nearing the end of our distribution board installations 🙌 Its been an ongoing project and the lads have all worked so hard, so it's great to see the finish line in sight!

We've also been out networking with other local businesses, while Monty has discovered the best new addition to the workplace...Joe's air fryer 😂🐶 A few cheeky bits of sausage may have found their way in his direction!

Oli & Joe have been busy after hours too, finishing our new workshop to house our ever-expanding collection of equipment 🔨⚡

And next week...believe it or not, we're starting work on CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!! 🎄✨

Finally, a little personal one - if you have noticed Oli missing the odd day over the last few months (thanks to the team for holding the fort!), this is what it has all been for 💜💛 His daughter Poppy & her pony Fin qualified for the prestigious Horse of the Year Show and are heading there this weekend - the absolute pinnacle of showing and a very proud moment for the whole family 🐴

Another productive week for the team, with our ongoing distribution upgrade project keeping us busy 🔧 💪🏽

Alongside the DB installations, this week we’ve also:

💡 Completed periodic emergency lighting testing
🔌 Relocated sockets within a busy industrial unit, working around their day-to-day operations
🤝🏼 Attended our weekly BNI networking meeting
⚡️ Joined a trades power team meeting, catching up & building connections with other local trades

⚡️ANOTHER BUSY WEEK AT HADLEY ELECTRICAL⚡️

We might have still been recovering on Monday after a brilliant night at the Pink Tie Ball, hosted by the fabulous Ada Haywood, raising much-needed funds for Cancer Research, but there was no time for a slow start! 🎀 🥂

This week we’ve:
🪛 Continued our ongoing project replacing non-CE approved distribution boards with new hager_uk boards

🔋 Installed and commissioned a new standby generator for a care home, providing essential backup power in the event of a mains failure

🤝🏼 And rounded off the week with a trip to BNI Staffordshire this morning, networking and making new connection with local businesses

Next week: more 3-phase DBs, emergency lighting periodic inspection & testing and meeting with two new potential clients ⚡️💡 🙌🏼

An early start for the team this morning! ⚡️

We were on site from 5am to take delivery of a new backup standby generator for a care home.

Careful planning & coordination meant the generator could be delivered safely and efficiently, ready for the installation & commissioning.

Reliable backup power is especially important in care environments, helping ensure essential services can continue in the event of a mains power failure.

Great work from everyone involved in the early start 👏🏼

⚡️Another busy week at Hadley Electrical ⚡️

This week we’ve been busy replacing non-CE approved distribution boards for a local business, upgrading them to hager_uk distribution boards.

These upgrades are helping to improve the safety & reliability of the electrical installation, giving the business confidence that its electrical systems are fit for continued use 🪛 🧰

This is an ongoing project with a further 12 boards to be replaced over the coming weeks 🙌🏼.

Elsewhere this week, we’ve also:

🏠 Carried out an electrical test & inspection for a buyer purchasing a new property, helping give them a clearer picture of the condition of the electrical installation before completing their purchase.

🤝🏼 Spent time networking with like-minded businesses across Staffordshire, building relationships & making new connections.

🐶 And of course, we’ve had a little help along with way from the one & only Monty - he’s kept a close eye on the team, making sure everything is up to his high standards 😂

⚡ EICR FAQs – Your Questions Answered! ⚡

Q: What is an EICR?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) checks the safety and condition of your property's electrical system.

Q: How often do I need one?
🏡Homeowners: Every 10 years (or when buying/selling).
🏠Rental properties: At least every 5 years or at the start of a new tenancy.
🏢Commercial/Industrial properties: At least every 3 to 5 years, depending on the business activity.

Q: How long does it take? ⏳
Inspections take anything from 2 hours to all day, depending on the size of the property/premises.

Q: Will the power be turned off? 🔌
Some circuits will need to be switched off temporarily while testing is carried out.
