An early start yesterday completing the first stage of groundwork for a single storey extension to be built later this year. Forty tonnes of earth, half of a very large laurel bush and fences and posts were removed around the property. A trench and footings were also excavated and concrete set down in preparation for the brick walls to be built soon.
It was a wonderful job and it will be nice to see the finished project and proceed on to landscaping the remaining garden.
