Testing out some new SPECSAVERS prescription safety glasses, across every aspect of my work. They protect my eyes from sawdust, strimmer cord and flying branches AND they aren’t bulky or ugly. They look just like my normal glasses but with the added protection of the side panels. They’re a great alternative to contacts and save me clawing bits of conifer out of my eye 😅 it’s some peace of mind I’ve been looking for. 👓

It’s been a crazy month of highs and lows 📆James is doing good and I’m working hard with some help from the lovely ladies who are working with me 🌳I spoke at Harrogate flower show and turned 20 🥳🌺 So hopefully you’ll be hearing more of us in future and I’ll go back to regular posting 📸

Getting my new prescription safety glasses will be a game changer for work. Sawdust flying in your eyes all day long can get wedged under contact lenses and become really painful- safety glasses takes gives you the peace of mind that your eyes are safe and your everyday glasses won’t be damaged 👓 safety glasses aren’t all bulky plastic things either there’s loads of sleek frames to choose from that look just like regular glasses !

Women bring femininity and a different kind of thoughtfulness to work. I know I used to keep the guys looking good. Make the occasional breakfast or quiche for a snack. Make them try new things and vice versa. But when you put women in ‘a man’s world’ you add diversity to the work chit chat and potentially, a safer feeling for the customer, maybe even a perfectionist flare to the ‘that’ll do’ mindset. What do you think ?

Come to work with me (dogs POV). If anyone wanted to know how it is to be Atlas while we do our thing, then this is the video ! He’s really good about relaxing when we get to a new garden and working for ourselves mean we don’t have to rush and we can give him the time he needs 🐶 🐕 🐾

Another tree Tuesday for (what I think) is one of the most interesting of britain’s native trees.

Yews have been used historically to make long bows and spear heads . They also have been associated as an omen of doom 😳.

Todays Tree Tuesday is Holly !! My namesake and a tree I’ve always loved. Here’s some facts for you and some amusing content of me talking about things that are above my pay grade 😂

This plant has brilliant defence mechanisms to protect itself from grazing animals and red berries that birds LOVE 🐦🍓

My first go at a more educational style video and what better to start with than a tree that shares its name with my dog 🐶! Both from Morocco in the Atlas Mountains 🏔️ this tree is a beautifully striking blue tone which gives its common name of ‘Atlas blue cedar’ although atlas (dog) isn’t named after the tree, we think that this is a happy coincidence 🌳. I’m hoping to make weekly videos of beautiful trees. Let me know what trees you would like to see next …

Hi guys, I’ve had lots of ‘pinch me’ moments lately. One of which is wanting to send me some of their clothes ahead of their online store launch this Friday (30th). All tree inspired clothes of amazing quality 🌳

Another is some exciting talks/ podcasts which I’m not sure whether I can say just yet !

I’ve also started a new instagram to give back to people all this amazing love I’ve been shown ❤️ There is a crowd fund link in its bio but all the money will go directly to helping people and animals, which I will document on that page - starting with giving supplies to our local animal shelter. If anyone has some good ideas of ways to help people I’d eventually like to do a good deed a day if possible. I was even thinking of planting a tree for every 10 followers etc
