Throwback to when I started teaching my nephew the ropes in property renovation and development. 🔨🏠

Looking back, I honestly think one of the best things we can do for the next generation is to give them real-life experience early on.

Truth is, even as adults, most of us don’t really know what we want to do. We get funneled through school, then college or uni — only to end up in jobs we don’t enjoy, doing things we didn’t even know we were signing up for.

That’s why I think it’s so important to let young people try things out.

Not just one week of work experience ticking boxes… but real exposure — multiple weeks, different trades, different industries.

Let them see what it’s really like — what they enjoy, what they don’t, and what they’re actually good at.

Sometimes, learning what’s not for you is just as powerful as finding what is.

It doesn’t have to be perfect — just hands-on, real-world experience. And maybe, just maybe, it sparks something they never knew they had in them.

“What Does Being a Millionaire Mean to You?”

Recently, I’ve noticed a lot of people talking about being rich—
Wanting to become a millionaire.

Simon Squibb asks 100s of people whats your dream ?
And seeing many say be rch be a millionaire

But stop for a moment and really think...
What does being a millionaire actually mean to you?

🤔 Have you ever properly thought about it?

For me, it started when I was young.
👉 At 12 years old, I set myself a goal:
“I want to be a millionaire by the time I’m 40.”

Truthfully, I didn’t have the first clue what that really meant.
It just sounded cool at the time.

Looking back now—
What a brilliant goal to have at such a young age.
That inspiration, a dream maybe even a fantasy

As I’ve got older, I’ve realised:
Being a “millionaire” can mean different things to different people.
It’s not just about seeing £1 million sitting in your bank account.

Here’s one way I break it down—
Let’s call it:
The Millionaire Ladder 🪜💷
Maybe create your stepping stones, ladder whatever that maybe

🔹 Asset Millionaire
You own assets—property, businesses, investments—worth £1 million or more.

🔹 Equity Millionaire
Your ownership or stake in something valuable (like a business or property portfolio) adds up to £1 million.

🔹 Cashflow Millionaire
Your income streams generate £1 million

🔹 Cash-in-the-Bank Millionaire
You physically have £1 million in liquid cash sat in the bank.

So let me ask you again:
👉 What does being a millionaire mean to YOU?

Is it about freedom?
Security?
The chance to give back?
Having more time for family and the things you love?

Whatever your answer—
Define it. Build towards it. And climb your own ladder.
