Less than three weeks to go until the ASCP26 Awards!

We’re incredibly proud to be nominated across several categories this year, and we’re looking forward to joining colleagues, customers and peers from across the sector in Newport to celebrate the achievements that make a real difference.

For us, events like the UK Awards are about much more than the awards themselves. They’re a great opportunity to network, share ideas, learn from others and celebrate the successes happening across our industry.

The housing and building safety sector continues to evolve, and collaboration and knowledge-sharing are vital to helping us all raise standards and deliver better outcomes. It’s fantastic to have an evening dedicated to recognising the people and organisations who are making that happen.

We’re looking forward to catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people, exchanging ideas and, of course, celebrating with the wider industry.

We recently welcomed the team from Realise to Phoenix as they spent the day filming and capturing the apprenticeship experience from the perspective of one of our very own apprentices, Oscar Cresswell, to help create a video on behalf of our training providers, Smart Energy Training

Oscar was nominated by his colleagues to take part, and we’re incredibly proud to see him representing Phoenix and showcasing what life as an apprentice can really look like.

For businesses considering apprenticeships, Oscar’s story is a great example of the benefits they can bring — from developing home-grown talent and building practical skills to giving young people the opportunity to learn, grow and build a career while contributing to the business.

A big thank you to Realise for visiting us and to Smart Energy Training for helping to shine a light on the benefits of apprenticeships. And, of course, well done to Oscar for stepping up and representing Phoenix!

Here’s a little update from Business Development Manager Ben Gittens on our recent corporate social value project at Coalville C.A.N on behalf of EMH Group…

Thanks to a lick of paint, new flooring, blinds and plenty of hard work by our team, the space is now lighter, brighter and ready to welcome members of the Coalville community who rely on this important community hub – and the transformation is already making a real difference to the feel of the building.

It’s fantastic to see the progress taking shape and to know that these improvements will help create a more welcoming environment for everyone who uses the space.

We’re looking forward to continuing our work with Coalville CAN and exploring further opportunities to support the organisation, including improvements to heating, cooling and overall energy efficiency.

Thank you to everyone at involved in bringing this project to life. We’re proud to be able to play our part in supporting such an important community space in the areas we serve.

On Thursday 16th July, the Phoenix Group Annual Charity Golf Day returned to Trentham Park Golf Club, bringing together colleagues, clients, suppliers and partners from across the industry for a brilliant day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising.

Following another sell-out event, it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces on the fairways, all united by a shared goal: raising vital funds for two incredible causes,Mind and ADAPT Prembabies.

From impressive drives and birdies to the occasional trip into the bunkers, the day was packed with competitive spirit, plenty of laughter and, most importantly, a fantastic sense of community.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event — our colleagues, customers, suppliers and partners — and to everyone at Phoenix who played, volunteered their time, helped set up and worked behind the scenes to make the day such a memorable success.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and helped make this year’s Charity Golf Day another huge success.

And the fundraising total? That’s still to follow…

We're thrilled to celebrate another member of our team this week.

Charlie Jewitt, who has successfully completed his Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician apprenticeship, is now a fully qualified Gas Engineer.

Charlie joined Phoenix just a year ago while working towards his qualification, and through hard work, dedication and commitment, he's reached this fantastic milestone.

Congratulations, Charlie—we're proud to have you on the team and look forward to seeing your career continue to flourish!

100 miles. 36 hours. One incredible achievement.

A huge congratulations to Lucy Antcliffe from our Commercial team, who completed the gruelling 100-mile Rat Race ultramarathon from Edinburgh to Glamis in memory of her sister, Chel.

After eight months of training, Lucy tackled coastal paths, roads and beaches on the 100-mile course. The demands of the challenge made her a little queasy at times, but her determination never wavered, and she battled through to cross the finish line after an incredible 36 hours.

Alongside her family, she's also raised more than £3,000 for The Macmillan Horizon Centre and Pink Sisters & Misters.

An inspiring display of determination, resilience and strength for two fantastic causes. Well done, Lucy—we're all incredibly proud of you.

Celebrating 22 years of dedication!

Last month, we were proud to recognise our longest-serving colleague, Ryan Wood, who marked 22 years with Phoenix.

Ryan joined us as an apprentice in June 2004 and, through hard work and determination, progressed from qualifying as an installer specialising in domestic gas and renewables to a supervisory role. Today, he leads our installation teams as Head of Installations.

Ryan's career journey is a brilliant example of where dedication and a commitment to learning can take you. He continues to inspire the next generation of engineers, sharing his knowledge and encouraging others to build rewarding careers in the industry.

Congratulations on this incredible milestone Ryan, and thank you for your 22 years of commitment to Phoenix!

We're excited to be working with Coalville CAN on a project that will make a real difference to their community!

This week, our Business Development Manager, Ben Gittens, and a fantastic team from The Phoenix Group have rolled up their sleeves and got started on revamping a SEN classroom and community spaces at Coalville CAN.

The first stage includes redecorating and reflooring, and there's much more planned!

We're also looking at ways we can use our expertise to improve the building's heating and cooling systems while making it as energy-efficient as possible, helping Coalville CAN continue the amazing work they do for years to come.

We can't wait to show you the finished transformation.

After 18 holes in the glorious sunshine, it’s time to kick back, relax and celebrate a fantastic day at The Phoenix Group’s Annual Charity Golf Day.

⛳ Time to tee off 'fore' a great cause! ⛳

The day has finally arrived –The Phoenix Group Charity Golf Day 2026 has officially begun!

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone joining us today at Trentham Park Golf Club. Thanks to your incredible support, this year's event sold out, and together we're driving towards something truly special by raising vital funds for our chosen charities.

Whether you're aiming for birdies, avoiding the bunkers, or just enjoying the fairways with colleagues, we hope you have an unforgettable day and good luck to everyone competing.

A special thank you to all of our players, staff and supporters. We couldn't do it without you, and we're looking forward to making this our biggest and best Charity Golf Day yet.
