* Valid CPCS Card (essential)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience operating 360 excavators

* Ability to work safely and efficiently on busy construction sites
* Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team

This space started with a sloping lawn, overgrown planting areas, and limited usable space. We completely redesigned the garden to create a clean, low-maintenance, family-friendly area that can be enjoyed all year round.

It’s great to see the finishing touches being added at College Hill Park, Buxton, and to reflect on what has been a challenging but rewarding development journey with Persimmon Homes North West.

Over the years, the site has certainly tested everyone involved. From battling the Peak District weather — often feeling like experiencing all four seasons in one day — to overcoming difficult ground conditions and extensive bedrock excavation, every stage brought its own unique challenges.

Despite these obstacles, the hard work, collaboration, and determination of everyone involved have helped deliver a fantastic development that is now really taking shape. Seeing the completed roads, landscaping, and occupied homes is a testament to the effort and commitment shown throughout the project.

A huge thank you to Persimmon Homes North West, our supply chain partners, and all the site teams who have played a part in bringing this development to life. It’s always rewarding to look back at where a project started and see the thriving community it has become.
