Complete bathroom renovation in Newcastle Under Lyme
Removal of all suite including tiles, upon removing the tiles I found that the tiles had previously been installed on OSB board, so I replaced this with plasterboard and tanked out the shower area, this was originally a garage conversion and the floor had simply been done by putting down a plastic sheet with 110 mm installation and no timber, therefore the water had deflection hence the tiles cracking, it also had UFH which no longer working, there were water leaks everywhere
I replaced the complete floor, installing new membrane, timber supports and new insulation, followed by floor boards, then insulation boards and UFH before tiling with 60 x 60 slip resistant tiles
Tiled all walls with 60x30 tiles all from Johnson Tiles
New bath, wall hung bidet and toilet, new sink and vanity in a different location, new shower tray, shower and enclosure with a niche and towel rail
