I’m pleased to share that I recently joined Sonya on the Business Spotlight podcast to talk about my journey with Woodward Electrical Contractors Ltd.

We had an honest conversation about the importance of choosing verified electricians, the ever-changing accreditations, legislation and compliance requirements within our industry, and what the future may hold for the electrical trade.

It was a great opportunity to represent our business and discuss some of the issues affecting electricians, clients and property owners across both the domestic and commercial sectors.

A huge thank you to Sonya Farrall, Cross Rhythms City Radio 101.8FM and 96.6FM and for inviting me on and making it such an enjoyable experience.

The episode premieres on 19 September at 12:15pm. You can watch it here:

This was a completely different experience for me, but one I genuinely enjoyed!

It was great to sit down with Business Spotlight, in partnership with BabaBaboon and Cross Rhythms City Radio, for an open and honest conversation about the electrical industry and life in the trades.

I’d highly recommend the experience to anyone working in the trades who would like the opportunity to share their story, discuss the realities of the industry and promote what they do.

A big thank you to everyone involved for making me feel so welcome.

Full interview to be released in the next few weeks.

❌ No earth present
❌ Multiple circuits failing insulation resistance tests (

🔥 Smells like Burning 🔥

A small job repaired for a customer today, if it has any of the marks on your outlets like whats in this photo or the smell of burning plastic, please get it checked!

An electrical shower pull cord in this case fitted before we new the client, appears to be a loose connection on the supply neutral to the pull cord over the years has been smoldering and melted the unit.

If you have any accessories in this condition get them inspected.
