Our next staff highlight is Ben Staton.

Ben is an Apprentice Stone Mason and has been with us for just over a year. He is currently undertaking an apprenticeship which involves spending a number weeks per year at York College along with on-the-job training at our workshop.

"Stonemasonry allows me to carry a piece of history into the modern world. A few months ago, I created a gothic stone window which I'm particularly proud of."

A statement piece to remember.

This unique marble cabinet has been created from a single block of Italian Arabescato marble. The sideboard features two hand-finished, intricately carved doors.

Its flowing design takes inspiration from the opulence of Rococo and the grandeur of Louis XIV, creating a sense of movement and luxury that belies the weight and permanence of stone.

Now on permanent display at the Chelsea Harbour Design Emporium Collective.
