We’ve been making something a little different to what you’re used to seeing from us.

A completely bespoke reception desk for a clinic close to home.

The colours were matched to the flooring and branding, the storage was designed around exactly what the client needed, and the curved shapes and softened edges help give the whole space a more welcoming feel.

It’s a great example of what bespoke design can do. Practical, considered and made to fit the space perfectly.

Not a kitchen or a wardrobe this time, but still very much Barker & Co.

The Kewley project ✨

A whole wall of fitted wardrobes in Arko Matt Mussel, floor to ceiling, scribed into the wall so there are no gaps and nowhere for dust to hide.

Closed, it's a calm panelled wall that makes the room feel bigger. Open, it's a proper dressing area. The internals are finished in the same Matt Mussel so it looks just as good with the doors open, and there's warm LED lighting down every upright.

Inside there's double hanging, full-length hanging for longer coats and dresses, adjustable shelving and a bank of soft-close drawers.

The freestanding chest of drawers they'd been working around for years is no longer needed.

This is what we mean by bespoke. Nothing off a shelf, nothing squeezed in and hoped for the best. We measure your room, we design around what you own, and we build it to fit.
