Job finished off this morning in Ingelby Barwick.

Laminated grey doors supplied by the customer with Matt black furniture.

Out with the old in with the new.

Really old outhouse frames and doors replaced.

Not that anything of value is to be housed inside but these definitely needed upgrading.

Slim ledge and braced doors were replaced with thicker stringer framed ledge and brace ones.

Another Sunday funday. (In the sun all day 🥵)

This was a replacement of a rotten frame and door.

Photos only show the final result and it looks fantastic.

What’s fitted is a hardwood frame with weather strips installed.
A solid hardwood cottage style door.
British standard 5 lever lock for security.
Low line threshold for an all round water tight seal.
Sealed and finished with a brown mastic to blend in with the brickwork.

Job done!

One from last week in Ingleby Barwick

External garage door needed replacing like for like.

Frame was in good condition but needed re fixing to make secure.

All new hardware used and all completely painted by the customer.

Sundays job was to replace these tired old looking bedroom cupboard doors and I suggested that we make the door as one and match it to the bedroom furniture.

18mm MDF used and routered the design out.

9mm MDF used in rebate to create the panels.

Soft close hinges as standard.

Some wall panelling I did a few weeks ago.

Decoration and carpets finished and it looks great!

WOODWORM!!

Well a busy week!

This job went from replacing the floorboards and checking the sub floor with some bouncing joists to a full replacement of the majority of the joists due to woodworm.

Photos show how badly damaged the joists and boards were.

All new pre treated joists installed and woodworm preserver brushed onto the timbers too.

DPM installed prior to fitting of the joists to prevent future rot.

Flat sound sub floor back to as it should be 😎
