🔧 DRAINAGE WORKS UNDERWAY – BLOCK OF FLATS 🔧

A proper grafting day getting the drainage alterations underway on this block of flats.
With the internal layouts changing, today was all about getting the groundwork done ready for the new soil and waste runs.

💥 Makita UK breaker earning its keep chasing out the concrete floors
💨 STIHL saw cutting through ready for the new drainage routes

🔧 Existing drains rodded through and thoroughly washed out

📐 Soil pipework being re-routed to suit the new flat layouts

🚚 New soil pipe and fittings supplied by Joseph Parr (Middlesbrough) Ltd , Portrack Lane

Plenty of concrete shifted and plenty more pipework to go in — but a good start getting everything opened up and the existing drainage running clear before the new system goes together.

🚿 Refresh Your Space: The Power of Shower Renovation
Thinking about giving your bathroom a new lease on life? A shower renovation is one of the most impactful ways to instantly refresh your space, improve functionality, and even boost your home's value!
Why Renovate Your Shower?
• Modern Aesthetics: Say goodbye to old, moldy grout and dated fixtures. Modern tiles, sleek glass doors, and contemporary hardware can transform your daily routine.
• Enhanced Functionality: Improve water pressure, add built-in niches for storage, or install a luxurious rain showerhead or body jets.
• Fix Leaks & Prevent Damage: Renovation is the perfect time to fix underlying waterproofing issues, preventing costly structural damage down the line.
• Better Accessibility: Consider a low-curb or curbless walk-in shower design for a safer, more accessible space.
Key Decisions to Make:
• Tile Choice: From classic subway tile to large-format porcelain or natural stone, your tile sets the tone.
• Shower Door: Framed, frameless, or a simple curtain? Frameless glass creates a seamless, high-end look.
• Fixtures: Pick your style (modern, industrial, traditional) and finish (chrome, matte black, brushed gold).
A shower renovation doesn't just change a part of your bathroom; it can change how you feel starting and ending your day. It's a fantastic investment in your comfort and your home!
