🏭 A fresh new look for this commercial unit in Huntingdon.

The tired green cladding has been completely transformed with a modern two-tone grey colour scheme, including a dark grey feature section to the front elevation.

We also resprayed the steelwork and coated the brickwork beneath the loading bay canopy to tie the whole scheme together.

A great example of how respraying existing cladding can completely change the appearance of a building, without the need for replacement. 👌

This project involved the complete transformation of an ageing industrial building, inside and out. The aim was to improve its appearance, protect the building envelope and prepare the property for the lettings market.

Externally, the works included cladding and curtain wall coating, cut edge corrosion treatment, a full roof and gutter coating system, window film application and car park line marking.

Internally, the existing mezzanine was removed to create a new undercroft and improve the warehouse layout. The internal cladding, structural steelwork, blockwork and plasterboard were resprayed before a new epoxy resin floor coating was applied.

The office and welfare areas were also fully refurbished, with new carpet and Altro flooring, upgraded bathrooms and kitchen facilities, and complete redecoration throughout.

With multiple trades working across the entire building, careful programming, sequencing and quality control were essential to bring everything together as one coordinated refurbishment package.

The completed building has been modernised throughout, with a consistent finish both internally and externally. It is now ready for the lettings market, while the external building envelope is protected by an Alltimes Coatings Ltd system supported by a 20-year manufacturer-backed guarantee.

A significant practical completion milestone and a great example of what can be achieved through a coordinated full-building refurbishment.

✈️ Something a bit different for us…

We’ve been contracted to respray the iconic Vulcan XM603 at Avro Heritage Museum in Woodford.

Built at Woodford in 1963, XM603 was part of the UK’s V-Force during the Cold War before returning home where it sits today.

Not your everyday job but we’re excited to see this local legend come back to life! 🛫

After completing the cut edge corrosion treatment and bolt encapsulation last week, we’ve now moved into the coating phase with the roof being sprayed using Alltimes Coatings Advantage 20.

The preparation work ensures the system performs as it should and the coating gives a consistent, seamless finish across the entire roof.

The result is a fully protected roofing system designed for long-term performance, not just a quick visual improvement.

Our team's hard at work in Feltham, treating cut edge corrosion on a full refurbishment project! 🏗️

After high pressure cleaning and biocide treatment, the bolts were encapsulated and sheet ends were abraded, sealed and tooled to form a watertight barrier. Next step is a full coating to protect the entire roof. 💪

On this project, we're using Advantage system for a 20-year guarantee.
