ABD Tools We make & sell tools to safely, quickly and easily remove & refit radiators without draining and repair taps without damage to pipes or sinks/basins/baths

We develop and patent new tools to overcome a problem and then manufacture and sell or license these products. The current problems we provide specialist tools to resolve relate to central heating radiators, copper pipes and water taps during renovation, repair, maintenance and installation. We are continuing to develop different tools to solve common problems found in other areas of skilled trade

s. ABD was formed in 1998 as a UK limited company when Graham Downey, a builder, plumber and inventor teamed up with Phil Morris, an IT specialist to exploit Graham’s inventions. The two other members of the team are Alan Green, a design draughtsman and machinist (retired) who provides the engineering skills to develop the tools

"Arrived promptly, well packaged. A little bit of trial and error to assemble it correctly but once I’d worked it out what washer to use and not to use the internal ‘sleeve’ it all worked like magic. Really, really, an excellent piece of kit and I think I’ve already saved, way more than I would have paid in ‘call out’ fees plus labour at silly amounts per hour."

Some great feedback from an Ebay customer,
This may not be the cheapest tool I will ever buy but it is a work of genius as far as I'm concerned. Replacing a tap washer is one of the simplest plumbing jobs you can do, yet in my experience it is NEVER easy and I always end up fighting a losing battle with a stuck valve. This tool allowed me to do the job in a fraction of the time with almost no effort and without the tap base shifting even a millimetre. Just brilliant!
