Having started my work life as an apprentice electrician in the steel industry and practising my craft for many years, in both the steel and water industry. I moved into industrial automation working in complex control systems across a variety of roles including senior management positions.Throughout this time in industry I have always kept abreast of BS7671, the Requirements for Electrical installations. I recently made the decision to withdraw from corporate life and take life a bit easier, and remembering how much I enjoyed electrical work, I decided to re-skill. I have now successfully passed the required training courses to revalidate my "Electrician" status and have also been successfully assessed by NAPIT for electrical installation and inspection & testing in domestic, commercial and industrial environments.
