☀️ Summer fun at Old Moat Active Streets! 💛

During the summer holidays, Kody, Kate, Nicola and Mel from the Rosgal team spent the afternoon at the Old Moat Active Streets event, decorating hi-vis vests and bags and participating in fun and games🎨🦺

Delivered by MCRactive in partnership with Manchester City Council and local partners, Active Streets temporarily transforms residential roads into safe, traffic-free spaces where children and families can play, cycle and enjoy activities together. 🚲✨

It was also lovely to catch up with Withington neighbourhood officers Sam and Lorraine, as well as local councillors Gavin and Sam.

🎉 Manchester Play Day 2026! 💚

Rosgal was delighted to support this year’s Manchester Play Day 2026, supplying resources for a number of Play Day events across the city. Our team members Kody, Kate, Nicola and Mel were also on hand at Platt Fields Park to help support the celebrations.

With Manchester recently recognised as a UNICEF UK Child Friendly City, this year’s theme, ‘Play – here, there, everywhere!’, couldn’t be more fitting. Play is essential to children’s happiness, health and wellbeing, and every child deserves the time, space and freedom to play.

It was a privilege to support such a meaningful event that brings communities together and champions opportunities for children to thrive.

🎉 Summer Fair Fun! ☀️

Last week, Kylie and Erin volunteered at a local school's Summer Fair close to the Cleggs Lane scheme, which Rosgal is delivering on behalf of our client Salford City Council ❤️

They ran a road safety stall, handed out free road safety goodies and had a fantastic afternoon meeting local children and their families. 🚦🎁 It was a brilliant way to spread important road safety messages in a fun and engaging way!

Supporting our local community is something we're passionate about 💛

We were delighted to fund the coach transport for a local Year 5 class to visit Withington Library, where they enjoyed an afternoon celebrating reading, sport, art, diversity and culture 📚⚽🎨

The children visited the Marcus Rashford archive, explored local murals and even enjoyed an ice cream along the way 🍦

It's especially great to see the children making the most of the benches at Rutherford Place, which Rosgal helped to deliver as part of the public realm improvements in the area 🌳🪑

Road Safety with Max the Construction Monkey! 🚦🐵

Last week, Kylie and Erin visited Your Nursery Ltd to deliver a fun and interactive road safety session to the pre-school children 👷‍♀️🚸

The children learnt all about Stop, Look and Listen 👀👂 and how to stay safe and be seen near roads. Most importantly, they got to meet Max the Construction Monkey, who was an absolute hit with everyone! 🐵💛

It was a lovely afternoon and a great opportunity to help teach important road safety messages in a fun and engaging way.

🚧 Works at the Fallowfield CYCLOPS junction are now in full swing 🚴‍♂️🚶‍♀️

Project Completion: Stevenson Square Rain Gardens – Manchester 🌿💧

Another great project completed! ✅ We’re proud to have delivered the renewal of Stevenson Square Rain Gardens on behalf of our client, Manchester City Council.

Our team transformed the space with new landscaping and vibrant planting, creating purpose-built rain gardens designed to capture and manage rainfall more effectively 🌧️🌱 We also reinstated protective timber edging and installed temporary fencing to help the new plants establish and thrive.

Rain gardens don’t just look great — they help reduce surface water flooding, improve drainage and boost biodiversity right in the heart of the city 🐝🌼 A simple idea making a big difference for Manchester’s streets!
