The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme, providing support towards the up-front costs associated with the purchase and installation of the chargepoint for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations.

A total of £350 per socket is available, with businesses and organisations able to install up to a maximum of 40 sockets. As a result, businesses are entitled to a grant of up to £14,000 for their workplace.

Government grants are available in most circumstances when it comes to installing an electric vehicle charging unit, whether this be to a residential or commercial site.
