Ardbeg House, the boutique whisky and hospitality experience in Port Ellen, Islay, has been recognized by The Times and The Sunday Times as the best place to stay in the UK.

Opened in September 2025, the hotel offers 12 unique rooms, over 50 Ardbeg whiskies, Team are proud to have collaborated delivering the full M&E package on this prestigious project with and interiors designed by Russell Sage Studio, complemented by handcrafted pieces from over 20 Scottish and Islay artisans. Judges praised it as “a whisky wonderland” with “eye-popping interiors” and a convivial, locally-inspired experience. They awarded food, drink, and hospitality an impressive score of 9/10.

Congratulations to the Ardbeg House team for this prestigious recognition, just six months after opening, cementing its place as one of the UK’s most exciting new destinations.

A Wee Glimpse of Ardbeg House ✨

For almost a year, Team 1314 have been hard at work on this one-of-a-kind, ultra-exclusive hotel renovation for LVMH’s Louis Vuitton & Glenmorangie.

We are immensely proud to have delivered the full Mechanical, Electrical, and Smart Systems for this remarkable project – a boutique hotel on the Isle of Islay that celebrates not only world-class whisky and hospitality 🥃 but also exceptional craftsmanship and design.

Collaborating with some of the UK’s leading designers, our team poured passion, precision, and relentless dedication into every detail. The result? A project that sets a new standard for luxury and storytelling on Islay.

This has been a true milestone for Team 1314 – and we couldn’t be prouder 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃

Another milestone complete – and what a project it’s been! 💪

We’re incredibly proud to have delivered the full electrical, fire, and security systems for an 80-bedroom care home all the way down in Bury St Edmunds, England on behalf of Simply UK

This was no easy task – coordinating such a large-scale project from our HQ in Bannockburn, right in the beating heart of Central Scotland, brought serious logistical challenges. But as always, our team rose to the occasion and delivered.

This project is yet another example of what sets us apart – we’re honest, hardworking and dedicated contractors who always follow through, no matter the distance or the demands. We do what we say we’ll do, and we do it well.

Our business continues to grow from strength to strength. Every project teaches us something new, and we take those lessons forward – improving, evolving, and consistently delivering for our clients across the UK.

We’re incredibly proud to have successfully delivered another standout project in collaboration with for - one of the UK’s most iconic family hotel resorts.

Our team completed a full M&E installation on this £5 million renovation transforming the front-of-house dining and entertainment spaces into something truly special.

A huge shoutout to our phenomenal team for their outstanding effort and commitment. The sheer amount of work packed into such a tight turnaround was no small feat – and they absolutely delivered. This one’s a real testament to what we can achieve together.
